Down time And Relaxation
Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a successful week?
What do you do for relaxation? Are you anywhere near the countryside?
Do you manage to get into nature for relaxation? Do you relax at home, or attend any sort of group relaxation activity such as yoga?
Personally I find getting out into the fresh air in the countryside to be therapeutic.
I love running in the woods near where I live in the English countryside, there are quite a few local beauty spots and many are within walking distance, we are very fortunate.
Sometimes if you are in the city and its not easy to get to any countryside you can watch videos and films that can transport you into nature. One example channel is this one youtube.com/natureandhistoryofmountains, where you can see all sorts of wildlife and countryside from anywhere in the world.
Other ways to relax are to go to a local park or open area, where sports may be going on. I am very fortunate to have a sports field near where I live so that I can use this for various running training sessions. Lots of local children and sports clubs use this same sports ground for football (soccer), cricket, school training sessions, as well as a childrens play area with swings and a seesaw.
Some down time from working is essential and I have vowed to take more frequent breaks during my working day. My wife and I like to sit in our garden and enjoy a cup of coffee mid morning, just to break up the work time.
What do you do for your relaxation? What do you do at break times? How do you spend your own days off?
I imagine there will be a lot of variety in the answers to those questiions worldwide.
Enjoy your weekend!
Cheers
Alan

In the middle of a city here Alan, but... there are many physical activities available to us if we want to pursue them of course!!
For me... I love to take my pup out on long walks in the various parks we have here (if I can get her out the door that is!!)
But... to seriously relax... nothing beats a glass or 4 of red wine whilst watching a quality movie or series!!
Take care buddy and enjoy a wonderful start to the new week! :-)
Downloading the app was super simple, and the installation was quick. Now, I have all my favorite games just a tap away. https://1wincasino.co.in/app/ makes it so easy to enjoy slots and live games wherever I am, and I havenβt experienced any issues so far. Itβs perfect for those moments when I want a quick game during a break.
Hi Alan
Itβs so essential to add relaxation to every day, especially for our feeling of well being.
Online marketers tend to be keyed in on βtaking massive action,β which is great for business but we also need a well-balanced lifestyle.
I relax by spending time with family & friends, playing music, and watching movies.
I consider exercise more in the category of βmedically necessary.β Lol π

Hahaha! 'Medically Necessary' Frank!!
Leave your guitars behind for 30 minutes a day and enjoy a nice run in the waves on the beach!!
Rock On!!

Hi Nick
Yeah, we have a lot of fun walking around outside in the nice weather. I probably wouldn't do it without my wife, even though it is medically necessary, ... well maybe with my Bose noise-cancelling headphones and a great playlist. Hahaha! π
Playing a guitar or exercising; it's not even a contest, but I'd put one down for a homemade snack or two from Stacy's kitchen! Lol π
Rock On! π€

There's nothing better than a nice stroll outside in the countryside in my opinion Frank!!
Personally... I prefer to leave all headphones at home and enjoy the wildlife... that's just me though!!!
I'll get there one day to taste the delights from Stacy's kitchen (and also one of those famous cocktails.... or seven!!!)
Rock On!!

Yeah, Nick, I wouldn't use the headphones when I walk with Stacy. When I lived in Florence and Rome back in the late 1970s, I walked everywhere with a Walkman cassette player (remember those) and a shoulder bag full of tapes. Lol
I used to buy copied cassette tapes on the black market in Florence, and they sounded pretty good. Between the tapes I bought and the ones I brought with me from America, I had close to 1,000 albums.
When I left, I gave them all away to my Italian friends. π
I probably still have that Walkman cassette player around here, somewhere! Hahaha π
Perhaps we'll meet in person someday! π

I certainly remember them Frank!!
My Sony Walkman was my first best friend!!!
When I get Stateside... you'll be the first place I visit!!

Hi Alan!
Taking time to wind down is important! We know what this is might be different for everyone.
Since I spend my time traveling and living in our RV in different locations I live a relaxed life.
Pam and I love to sit outside the RV, have a campfire, enjoy an adult beverage, and relax.
One thing I really enjoy is to watch movies I love over and over and while doing so, work within WA and creating more content.
It has become my retirement activity and I love that it keeps me engaged. Any monies are just a bonus!
My activities and those within WA for the past ten years have allowed me many blessings!
I wish the same for all Wealthy Affiliates!!
So, Alan relax when you need to and enjoy your blessings.

Alaska is a natural place to enjoy nature. I try to take a short walk every day outside when the weather permits. Nature provides the perfect setting for relaxation.
