Time to Give Up
I have decided to give up!
There are several factors here.
My eye sight is getting worse and extended computer use is making it worse. Too many years of being in the IT industry and over use of my eyes.
After being away in UK and then returning to China I have my second apartment set up and such a beautiful area. All I want to do is hike there and not sit at a computer day and night fighting with the technicalities of running a website.
Final straw, is the Chinese government has virtually shut any international access down to a bare minimum. VPNs blocked, my HSBC bank, Barclaycard, Paypal etc. Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, all blocked. This is in addition to the usual blocks on Facebook, YouTube, and now What's App. They need a VPN to work and the VPN's are blocked. (My main VPN supplier Express VPN has 100 servers and they are all blocked, they are working hard to try to circumvent this). Any search search using the word VPN is blocked too.
This is all due the 5 year political session which starts next week. So this will last for 3 weeks.
So I have decided to quit this idea of running a website and go hiking away from this stress. I will maybe sell my website, albeit in its infancy or just shut it down.
This is great forum and a fantastic set of supportive people. Thanks to everyone for all the support I have had.

Politics is making it harder and harder to access freedom; It is starting to happen more and more in the United States, as well.
You are so right Mickey. The world got smaller and a whole lot more complicated. Travel has become much harder in some respects and easier in others.
