Can't Make Time For My Wealthy Affiliate.

June is lucky for me, I got Full time Job in a company I love to work after 5 months of job search. Now the job requirement and training along with the family obligation I don't have much time to pay attention to my wealthy affiliate business. I'm looking for your help, please give me some honest suggestions to keep working on this without compromising my dream job.

Tried to make some adjustments in timing, I compromise my sleep and feel sleepy on job. Tried work on weekend my family time is compromised, my wife and kids saying we have only a weekend to spend with you. It's hard to do any personal things on job or during the breaks because of too much pressure to meet deadlines and make my reputation on new environment.

I will be very thankful of wealthy affiliate family to help me on this matter.

Thanks a lot in advance for your kind words,

Akbar Aziz

Sounds like a good news, bad news situation ... but not really. You got to make a living to do a lot of living my father-in-law used to say.

You've got your priorities straight. So WA becomes your Side Hustle. Sounds like you love the new job. You're so fortunate. So many here at WA have similar circumstances, except ... they HATE the JOB.

You have priorities set right, have a deep look, without losing more sleep at seeing where you could fit in just a few minutes to work on your site, then make a plan what jobs you could do in that time.

Great Idea, Thanks for your kind words.

You are most welcome.

Congratulations on your new job! Sounds like you have your priorities straight (work and family); maybe you can assess whether there are any time drains that you can give up in favor of working on your website(s)/building affiliate income. (Examples of time drains: social media, reading news online (or in print), watching TV or Netflix/Hulu/Youtube videos etc. . . .These are the kinds of things that you won't miss when you cut them out, once we kick those habits.)

Read Tim Ferris' book The Four Hour Work Week for more ways to focus your time on the important and to be effective in the time you choose to spend. Tim's book can help you to brainstorm ways to take your own circumstances and find new/better ways to gradually move towards building a mostly automated income to ultimately replace a day job, if that is your desire. I find it to be a very inspiring book, because it has practicable steps to gradually move yourself toward your dreams/goals using technology that never was possible in the past.

Cheers, and again, congratulations on your new job. That is fantastic and you are right to focus your energy on doing the best job you can while you build your website(s) on the side.

You are really the Bird, you gave so much energy and ways to keep me continue working on my WA business. So nice of you and bundles of thanks for all this. I'll try to read your suggested book.

Congrats on the new job. I also have a full time job. Some days WA just have to take a back seat because there is only so many hours in the day. I've gone days without logging into WA because I am too busy with my full time job. Your new job is important and you should prioritize it.

Thanks a lot for your helpful ideas, I'll try to work on it.

Akbar, I totally understand your difficulty.
Linda 103 & others have helpful advice for your consideration.
Take their advice!

No. 1 Is your health & general well being (don't forget to exercise)
2. Your family
3. New job after "5 months of search"
4. Time for yourself

Spend your time getting used to & settling in to your new job. There is no reason why you should " feel sleepy on the job" The management will see how you are performing.

I wish you well in this challenging time, I am sure you will work through this & progress successfully.

Denis

Maybe while learning your new job let WA take a back seat. Once you have settled into it you may have more time free.
Congratulations on your new job.

I am on the same boat. The way I keep the ball rolling is occasionally outsourcing my content writing to IWriter. It costs about $49 for a 2000 word article on there. I've been able to find methods of repurposing existing content to help make content production easier and cheaper as well.

That also works. It's best to outsource to save time. That is if you have the budget to do so.

I like the idea, can you please introduce me some people you are working with?
Thanks a lot for your helpful ideas, I'll try to work on it.

Like you, I also work full-time. Actually, this is about self-discipline and time management. If you know how to settle this issue, there'd be no problem.

For example, you have 9 to 5 work. You go home, spend 2 hours for website, training, etc. You can also do reverse. Get up earlier than your usual routine (which I usually do) and continue doing something on WA.

It's about dedication and strategy to dividing tasks in certain allocated time. I hope this helps you in your concern. :)

If you need more help, you can send me a message. I'll be delighted to be of help. :)

Thanks a lot for your helpful ideas, I'll try to work on it.

Great!

Just my two cents; your family is most important. The kids grow up so fast. And don't neglect your sleep either. You need to take care of you so you can take care of your family. WA may have to wait.
