Twitter and Pinterest Challenges
Hello WA Community!
It's been a while! I haven't been very active (vacation, work, holidays) but I have been experimenting with social media lately.
My main challenges are with Twitter and Pinterest. Do any of you use these as your main social media platforms? On Twitter, I'm struggling to keep followers. People follow and then they'll unfollow after a couple of days. I think this may be because I'm new and the people that follow me are marketing or find out that their interests don't align with mine. Any thoughts?
As for Pinterest, I don't really understand it, to be honest. Do you prefer to use it on your mobile device of your desktop? Maybe Pinterest is better for certain niches?
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Wishing everyone a productive holiday season.

Here's a recent question about Twitter that some members responded to in the comments with some good answers. How to get traffic from twitter? The follow unfollow actually probably has very little to do with you. A pretty wide spread strategy is to follow people to get them to follow you and then unfollow them if they don't follow you. It's actually automated by software.
I can not for the life of me figure out why people use Pinterest, but that's just me. I have a whole blog post about this that I haven't put up yet. That being said you are right. Pinterest is one of the social media sites that is very demographic driven from what I've read. There are certain demographics that are addicted to and others that completely ignore it. As for using it to sell stuff, haven't run across a proven strategy for that yet sorry.
