Google AdSense, aha!

I've been waiting for over a month to get approved by Google AdSense and I've figured out why!

I am a total space cadet and hadn't included my affiliate disclosure statements. This is actually kind of embarrassing - so basic! I think that in the excitement of learning and creating content and then the holidays, I totally overlooked it.

I've included a disclosure on my site and in relevant posts and resubmitted my sitemap to Google. Hopefully that's all it was.

Has anyone here had similar problems? Where exactly in the training do we learn about affiliate disclosures? In the section on the FTC? That's what I'd assume. Anyhow, thanks for reading. Wishing you a productive week!

Affiliate disclosures are not required in many countries and jurisdictions, although they can be a good idea to have on your website they are not an absolutely requirement.

By all means add one to your website, you most definitely can do this. Privacy policy is definitely a must have and many people add either a terms and conditions or affiliate disclosure.

I will probably add some more training to this within both courses though as I do get a lot of questions about this.

You shouldn't need one for Adsense though.

I don't have affiliate disclosure statement. To be honest I don't even know what it is :-) But I did get my Google Adsense approval in 10 days.

Hm... then I wonder what the heck is going on. I think that affiliate disclosures ahold be part of the main certification courses.

Something for me to learn also Jenny. thanks for posting!

Good question
