Crash! Boom! Bang! Another Crash But Life Goes On!

Almost a week past and today, the first full day I am back on online operation. S*** happened and it was also partly the mistake on my side too. No matter how hard you work your socks off, how many projects, or how busy you are in search for a dime in our chosen career and life, daily back up of the day works done, is a must. Almost two years since I was last on auto monthly payrolls, seeing career and life in different perspective tirelessly try to get my career and life back on track. Two years later, the light at the end of the tunnel is giving me some glimpses of hope. Nobody perfect and the works done for the past one month or so I do not realize no external back up done.

I got triggered recently by my financial provider about "PayPal Black". I did notice on two browsers random test that the official PayPal site I bookmarked redirecting to "other country PayPal page". First I clear up and refresh all bookmarks. Then, close that tab "suspicious" page directly and directly my laptop went burst! The driver gone! Two days ago, my tablet 8.0 went burst identically, :).

Smile, because to start building something is not easy and the test is to ride the tidal waves. One element I noticed all my life, early tough beginning is better as it is always a lengthy better days after. Where else, if other way around, once I triggered these two patents, it scare me more, always on "roller-coaster" rides and "ball-juggling" moment in the middle of the park.

Here also I would love to share about "Not all freebies are really free and watch out the Freebie tricks"

Watch out and be aware that sometimes no matter how great your watchful eyes are, we still need someone to help watch our back too. FREEBIES, suppose the stuff that make us happy but always be reminded on the TRICKS OF FREEBIES commonly work around the elements below:

  • Server security holes
  • Viruses
  • Trial Subscriptions
  • Emails
  • Shipping and Handling

Folks, if you have story, suggestion, experience etc to share over here, you are welcome and every message posted is essential and important for our community members.

Last but not least, like Chrome, I notice if the bookmark of the site thumbnail picture is changing to different thumb picture, it is time to clean up and refresh the all the bookmark links.

p/s: Also always believe that every disguise moment is sometime a blessing too. If you notice over here the logo, it is the giveaway perks being an affiliate to a web tools site. They also tie up deals with host of organisations like gaming firms where they run the campaign for them. As an affiliate, if we help advertise the campaigns on our social media, it will unlock us for one-time giveaway from their partners. I don't know why am here..

Keep on trucking.

Sure, sir. Thanks.

Awesome

Hope this info helps, sir.

Thank you once again for the reminder to do our housekeeping I like deleting unused bookmarks probably because I go into so many other searches, and I don't like the cookies that they generate also my bookmarks, favorites and bookmarks bar gets quite full so its great to keep it clean and tidy, as for those freebies that aren't even freebies I've decided if WA recommends them then take a look otherwise they get the big Delete, thanks again friend,
Kind regards
Sue

Hopefully, this giving you some good tips and avoid the same calamity I had encounter recently. We are on the same platform here and in helping the community get alerted to some issues online, is my small contribution here.

Thanks and I hope everything is good on your career and life.

Have a nice day, my friend.

Thanks for sharing.

You are welcome, my friend.

Once, somebody told me that the only thing that's free is the cheese on a mouse trap.

Ha Ha Ha, I am more than agree with you, my friend. Happened to be two days ago when I was at my parents-in-law house, they were busy cleaning up the mouse trap that trapped a mouse that morning, Ha Ha Ha.

I'm sorry you had a bit of a rough time...LOL...Mice are nothing but trouble :)

Thanks for sharing. The world wide web is a jungle, Proceed with caution at all times.

It is so true, my friend. It is a nasty jungle like those in the Amazon of South America continent.

Scammers everywhere. They are getting more and more sophisticated.

Turns out that a local reputable company had their HR site hacked - the hackers posted what appeared to be a legit Product Manager position for which I applied.

Long story short, they did 3 phone interview, a week later I get a job offer in the mail, a request to fly from Ontario to Calgary 9Canada) for training and a cheque for over $5,700 that I am supposed to cash immediately.

Needless to say, red flags went off, I called the company locally and they immediately told me that it was a scam.

If it sounds too good to be true, that is because it is.

Appreciate your life experience sharing and how bad your exposure to scamming stuff that nearly makes fools of our sincere hope for the vacancy and the job. Even it requires a fly all the way to Calgary from Ontario, I can feel how happy you are to get the job. Fortunately, the flag in red went off and at least saved you unnecessary costing.

Unfortunately, the online scams do not have the same large red flag, research, diligence and as you eloquently stated, there are tricks to be wary of.
