Well.This Is Where I Am Now. Who Knew?
I have gone from, I think I know what to do…but need help on how to do it…to OK, this is going to be scalable and sustainable.
I began like many, by seeing ads and such claiming to have found the secret to the “good life” …filled with yachts, exotic cars, mansions and a fountain of cash at the click of a button. Of course, that button is always clicked on the person’s laptop while sipping a tropical drink on the balcony of a VIP Suite Hotel…right? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand this is a scam. Unfortunately, that is the image that on-line business ventures have presented themselves to the public. Little more than Scammers that prey upon the weak-minded population who are searching for an easy route, to easy money. We all know that the only people making money buying this kind of product are the individuals that are selling the product…right? The training is general, at best…offers no real support after the purchase…sketchy website software that gets builders kicked out of Google and Facebook…and fails to prepare people for the hard work and patience to make this kind of business operate.
This is how I happened upon Wealthy Affiliate. I saw the ad and the review by member, Jack a.k.a. BNakedScam here at WA. He reviewed another platform I was considering and through his candid approach to both platforms, I chose to investigate Wealthy Affiliate. Mainly, because of the get started at no charge introductory sessions. After listening to the training and building my website and seeing the all-inclusive tools I needed to run my site for the low monthly fee, well...I was and am hooked.
The Wealthy Affiliate training has me with my website ( roadwarriorbiz.com ) up, running and ranked with Google. I have posted blogs to my site that are getting comments to help my SEO ratings also. I still have some work and training to do to get my site capable of generating income but there’s more to this than just getting the revenue started. I also have a real Google Avatar now with Google+. This is the real value with this training…not just the Avatar but guiding me to becoming a ranked contributor to the internet world. Taking my first steps to earning a real reputation in my field of knowledge. This is the secret sauce of the internet based business world…reputation. So, if I decide to recommend a product or service my CTR will be much greater and I can negotiate better and better prices to gain better and better profits. All this while I share my inside knowledge and help other make things easier for them…perhaps even joining the ranks of the successful on-line businesses.
My 3 month goals are to have this site generating measurable income, to start with and within 6 months, to be able to gain enough metrics on the performance to be able to tweak and tune my SEO and CTR by attracting the kind of visitors that do buy and do enjoy what I offer.
The best part though…I have a community of people that really seem to like to help. Not just getting ratings for the WA Site but really like to share. That’s Wealthy Affiliate’s Secret Sauce…the community.
Well, onward to Level 3 for me…I just signed up for a whole year and I HATE wasting money

Actually with all of the stuff at wealthy affiliate it amazes me that most people don't make any income. I think if you genuinely put forth effort you can at least make enough money to pay your monthly fees. I think you have some serious quality in your thinking.
This is a good post and with your attitude of doing it for yourself and not looking for a handout you for sure will achieve a measure of success.
I agree. If they aren't making any money they must be missing something somewhere. Perhaps they aren't brave enough to ask for help or think everything has to be a plug and play template. Regardless, the help and support is here, I think, Just ask.
