You May Ignore Your Night Time Dreams But Don't Give Up On Your Day Dreams
This post is not meant to make the obvious complicated, however, I think in my humble opinion that there are two major types of dreams and that distinction is significant in our lives.
1. Night Time Dreams
Without getting scientific on this matter, to put it simply, nighttime dreams are INVOLUNTARY reflections and reflexes of our conscious and awaken time. We often dream at night about something related to an activity we did earlier that day. Other times nighttime dreams are odd, hard to explain and even nightmares as we all dread to experience them.
Can we change our nighttime dreams? I think not, since they are a product of our subconscious. Some may argue that nutrition and drinks may also affect our nighttime dreams. Worries, anxieties and excitement can also play into the fabric of our nighttime dreams.
2. Day Time Dreams
Also known to most people as "dreams" when in context intend to relate or reflect our conscious expectations, wishes and hopes of achieving certain things.
Such day time dreams are typically focused on education, career, romance, material or financial goals.
As the first part of the cover photo says, it doesn't cost anything to day dream (albeit it may take certain things or events to make our day dreams a reality).
The Takeaway
"You have stated the obvious, so what is the point?" you may ask.
Just like a typical "call to action" button, we are faced with the following two clear and distinct choices, when it comes to our day dreams:
- DREAM to live the life you want
OR
- LIVE the life of your day dreams
That choice, can only be made by each one of us individually.
And as the cover photo says in the second part (it will cost us) "everything not to" pursue our dreams, which is a pro active thing.
Last but not least, if we ignore our day dreams, we may continue to be part of someone else's dreams - in the case of being someone else's company employee - and that passive approach ends in the predictable death of our freedom and financial independence.
May we all individually choose wisely.
Blessings!

Sometimes this is problematic, I keep on having day dreams about night things in the middle of the afternoon. Life is a dream she boom, she boom...

Hi Gabriel,
Thanks for the reminder about the "day-time" dreams and goals too. I have gotten lax about that. time to start looking into dreams and goals.again.

Bill and Sue,
Thank you so much for having taken the time to read and to comment.
The lax attitude we all suffer from is almost akin to being asleep, whereas when we sleep we have no control over our night time dreams.
We do however have control over our day dreams and need to pursue and achieve them.
Blessings!
