Hello worldwide Wealthy Affiliate community!

For most [adjusted for your local time zone] this is June, Friday the 1th, anno domini 2019.

This brief post continues the series of my recent posts here at WA focused on changing social economic shifts and changes and the emerging trends we need to pay attention to, as members of the "knowledge industry".

Although my posts have not gotten much attention here, which is fine, it is important to share this info because it is consequential and because it matters, regardless who chooses to read or not to read them.

The very brief post was inspired by an article from today's edition of The Wall Street Journal and that article's sum and substance is summarized below:

Some companies are trying to whip employees’ finances into shape, concerned about the impact of money problems on their work and ability to retire. Nanny companies are setting up rainy-day funds that can syphon cash from employees’ 401(k) plans, or offering them money and other incentives to set up emergency accounts. The moves by Levi Strauss, Kroger and others come as research shows that 30 to 40 cents of every dollar is withdrawn from 401(k) accounts before retirement — and amid slow wage growth and rising costs.

So to be sure, across various sectors of the economy (for those unfamiliar with some names, Kroger is a giant chain of food stores, SunTrust is a regional bank and Levi Strauss needs no introduction) from food supermarkets chains, to regional banks and to international apparel makers, the new emerging trend is to set up rescue funds for their workers whose financial problems affect both their active employment performance and the employees' ability to retire.

The takeaway from this new emerging trend for us is that, as I have been saying over and over again, the current cradle to grave education and corporate employment system is, by design, not meant to entertain the employees' dreams, hopes and aspirations but rather to dull them into a pre planned mold and a constant hopium fed dependency on their corporate masters, whether in active employment or in retirement thereafter. This whole nefarious system and its design is best explained by Robert Kiyosaki in his YouTube video entitled "They Want You Poor" which I do recommend everyone to watch and understand.

In closing, let us see in the underlying article and in my post another example of the opportunities we have to help millions, inform, educate, empower and liberate from the predictable ending of the so called conventional way society operates on, even as it is collapsing under the weight of its faulty design.

Blessings!

PS: Being that it is Friday, I may consider a little humor. If, as expected, this post just like the previous ones will get little attention, I may change its title to something more Facebook like and personal in nature, such as an announcement that I am getting married (which I am not, having been married for over 33 years). It will however be interesting to then see if the response to a different topic/theme title changes the dynamic of engagement.

Most large companies and corporations main goal is their profit. The days of the employer valuing the employees are very slim. They want to pay you just enough to survive. And continue to make the company successful. To achieve financial success you must do this for yourself. You'll never become a huge success working for others. So learn all that you can and put your training to work for your own future.

Dana,

Great summary of what we need to need to use in our outreach and marketing and use the related factoids and news articles to back it all up.

Blessings!

I found a selection of CD'S about six weeks ago. They were in amongst a collection of 'Self-help' recordings. One of them was a Robert Kiyosaki, an interview with. Once I've seen off Mr.Rohn (In a respectful manner, of course, for he is awesome) I shall have another listen.
Anyway, that's by the by. The 'Credit Card' life has its claws in most families, unfortunately. After struggling to pay off a longstanding balance you are rewarded with an increase in your allowance. Now having a better rating another card appears and at some point you transfer the balance from one to another and guess what ? Another reward of another increase in your credit limit. The cycle perpetuates and the debt carries over from generation to generation. All that being said, there is a crack in the dark clouds, that has allowed a small sliver of light with something labelled as 'Persistent Debt' which has been introduced by the FCA. I am not aware of the intricacies of how it works but 'they' are promoting paying more than the minimum amount so that the debt is cleared quicker. These notices are coming direct from the lenders.
Ironically, considering where the catchphrase comes from:
'Every little helps'

Prof Dr Emeritus Twack,

Well said and well sourced.

Would you like some french fries [British chips] with those ketchup packets?

I do like my chips 'Well sauced'

I believe you, that our system is designed to try to keep us poor. We must outsmart them...it is true that Americans are not ready for retirement. I'm one of the lucky ones. Though I don't have much, I have enough.

Fran,

Thanks for your continued support.

The issue is, well all know these problems, but we are still reluctant or hesitant to act and focus on the demographics we can help all while saying we do not have traffic.

Traffic will only develop if we go into "warm traffic". Not many buy from unknown strangers.

This morning, using the training and info we got here and elsewhere, I reached out to a 1% influencer (35000 plus followers) in my niche and that person agreed to help with my planned projects.

I am still nobody but if we use leverage traffic and influencers will join us.

We just need to act and act in a well planned manner but not to linger and hoping "cold traffic" and paid ads are the way to go.

Blessings

Gabriel,

Thank You for recommending this video!! (Now the Squirrels are running to absorb the message)!

This has given me an idea about my post for today... may I refer to this post?

Shaunna

Good morning Shaunna,

Fire at will, it is NOt my wisdom.

I just happen to be awake at the will.

Blessings!

Shaunna,

Should I launch operation "Fake News Title"?

I waited and not many came knocking...

Whaddaya think?

That way, if they come out with virtual pitchforks, I can hide [in fake groom wedding outfit] until I resurface for Jay's webinar later on.

Blessings!

Thanks for sharing...this post is yet another reminder that the 30-50 year rut system is NOT viable!

Unless one is comfortable with the odds of winning a lottery...it behooves finding an alternative approach to funding your dreams and/or retirement.

I submit we are here as WA Affiliates, to make those necessary changes to improve our lot!
Regards,
Billy

Billy,Thanks for the kind words and comments.

It gives me hope that I may not need to announce that I am getting married.....again.

We need to be missionaries to the shackled masses and we need to eb Chief Visionary Officer for our own businesses.

Blessings!

We have the power to bring down the corporate oligarchy. We have a legal entity known as the corporate proxy. If we put as much energy into elections for corporations as we did for political entities (who the corporations control anyway) we could bring about true change. It does require us to all to put aside our differences and stop letting the media moguls brainwash with their propaganda to choose sides. Just my two cents.

I am with you on that, however, I still hold that if those of us who are part of the "knowledge industry' do well our part as missionaries, in time the criminal platform entreprises will collapse.

The American revolution was fought and won with a small fraction of awakened and patriotic citizenry many of whom lived right alongside British loyalist neighbors.

Who will staff the corporations and sit in expensive college classrooms if we can show the corporate shackled masses and college students that free thinkers and entrepreneurs cna leverage knowledge and live and earn as God intended us to be.

FREE.

Blessings!

The process of driving change from the bottom up is a slow one, i.e., convincing people to start business opps, etc. Marx failed with his belief that the answer to the corporate takedown was a proletariat revolt. Here we are with corporations getting even stronger by the millisecond. They force their puppet politicians to enact laws that favor themselves (and in turn, the politicians), using our taxpayer dollars in the balance.

I agree that people should take matters into their own hands and opportunities like WA are tremendous to help that. But, I firmly believe we need to get at the root cause of the problem, which comes from the corporate tops. Otherwise, they will continue to squelch us with laws making it more difficult for people to start businesses like we can now. There's no reason why we can't do both. People need to start voting their shares of the companies they hold.
