Why am I here?

Nowadays we live so busy that we don’t have any time freedom!

Most of people have a 9-6 or 7 job. When they finish work, they have to pick up kids at school, make dinner, spend some time with kids (bath and homeworks), etc…

The truth is that when you finish your journey you are exhausted! And all days are the same!

When do you have some free time just for you? Or for your family?

Ok, you have the weekends… but which weekends?

At weekends we have to do what we haven’t the time to do in the week days, like washing, ironing clothes, clean the house, etc, and with kids you have the double work, right?

So, we use to work so much that we just don’t stop to think. Is this a normal lifestyle?

Where is your free quality time?

You can say that with a good job you can afford the things you want to you or to your family, right? But do you have the time to enjoy those things?

When I was younger I didn’t thought much about this, but now I realize that this is not the life I want for me and my family! I want much more! I want to have a good quality of life. I want to spend my time as I wish and without the distress of the current social lifestyle.

That’s why I’m here!

Sometimes it’s good to remember the reason of being somewhere.

I lived your scenerio for so many years!!! At times I still feel guilty for not having the quality time with my kids who are all grown now. Make this happen for you! :-)

Hi Debbi. Thank you for sharing!
I hope I can make it happen for me!
Alex

I know why I am here and I think this is an important question that we need to ask ourselves.. due to health issues was struggling to get back into work so this is my opportunity to work and to show my family especially my youngest daughter who is now a single mum there is a lot of pressure put on single parents to get back to work childcare can be difficult and to show others who are struggling

Hi Katie, You're right, there is a lot of pressure put on parents to get to work, and not only single parents. In my country I only had 4 month to be at home with my babies after they born, it is a very short period! After that we have to get back to work! And I know it is not easy to a mum to get back to work at 4 month old, specially because my kids only began to slip all night after 2 years old. Childcare can be really difficult, specially if you don't rest at night and you have to work the other day! 5 days a week...

That is true, when I had my children there was no such thing as maternity leave you had to give your job up, childcare is expensive and I see some parents working to more or less cover the costs until they climb the career ladder at least my husband could share some of the responsibility

I choose to be a stay at home mom and a homeschool mom (which had it's own hectic life) and it was a price my family paid as we lived on one tight income. Looking back, it was worth the price. Does it really matter if the family vacations are spend camping in a tent or at luxury resorts? What would really means the most to your children is a question to ask, when trying to sort out your priorities in raising a family.

One of our favorite family memories is when my husband and I decided, spur on the moment one early Saturday morning, to grab some snacks from the pantry, to put our ourselves, our kids and our dog in our van and drive off to the beach. (Beach was 90 minutes away) We left behind the chores, garden work, sports practices or anything else we had scheduled or planned for that Saturday. We all just let loose and enjoyed that beautiful, stress-free day at the beach.

Hi Myra! You're so right! Children just want to be happy and if I ask them, I'm shore they will prefer to spend the vacation in a tent!
We are much happier if we live each moment, right?

My life is so different now that my 4 children are grown, but when they were little and in school, we were SO busy!! It was non-stop.....it would take me a full blog to list all the activities, etc. I also owned my own dance studio business, and I was very lucky to be able to bring them with me when they were small. Then as they grew up they became very active at the studio. It was a wonderfully busy life and I will never forget all those fabulous memories :-) You know, when we want to do something that we love or desire, we can MAKE it work! Now.....I am basically retired and supplementing my income with things that I LOVE to do and WA is one of them!

Hi Diane, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful life experience! I hope to achieve your wonderful lifestyle!

I have the same reason. I want quality and quantity time with my family.

Hi Arief, we all want free quality time, right? What's the meaning of life if you have no quality time?
Alex

Stick to it, one step at a time.

Hi Joy, thank you for your support!
I wish you all the best!
