Hey Adrienne,
If your theme does not offer you that option (free themes don't as far as I know), then you will need to use a plugin.

I am trying to copy and post affiliate links to my affiliate message prompts. I know how to copy and paste, I just want to know how to paste them as usable links. Even copying
No it will not work that way, do know you need a extra plugin on your site installed to copy/paste the url otherwise it will stay dead.
When you click on the Affiliate Program link you can set up message prompts for people who land on the WA page by a link you've posted or shared. When I came here it was through a link that was in an article. Once I registered in WA, the person who was responsible for bringing me in welcomed me in with message prompts that contained links to different areas here in this site. I know I can ask this person which I will eventually do if no one else can answer this question. I'm just asking this question because it is encouraged to ask questions here. Do you have any idea?
Instead of me just telling you, go to the search box right above and enter the word messages.
A list of blogs, training and other information will come down. About 2/3 way down is a couple of trainings for you on this issue.
that way, whatever I would have said will be understandable!
