It's a very cold night, but my heart is warm.
I can't believe it took me this long to write my first blog post here. Where to begin, though? As you can guess from this post's title, it's pretty cold where I am right now--28 degrees as I write this, in fact. You wouldn't think it could get so cold in Louisiana, especially in November, but it can. Yet because of the immense kindness and helpfulness I have been shown by everyone in just the past few days since I've started here, I can't help but feel all warm inside :) thanks to all of you, I'm off to a really good start here and I just know I'm going to be able to make my website work out. I still need to add content to it and flush it out more, and I may not get to do that until later today, but I've already purchased alishasdolls.com and so, I've signed up for this for the long haul. I'm looking forward to what I can do with this website and see what God has in store for me on this journey. Once again, I want to thank everyone that has decided to follow me so far and has helped me out. It's an incredible feeling to know that other people actually want you to succeed. I wish all of you luck and as much success as I hope to have with this!

I bet the weather is just perfect in Greece right now! I would love to visit there one day. :) Thank you so much for the compliments too. I haven't even finished one of the pages I made (I got very tired when I was working on it and had to stop for a while to sleep) but it's so heartening to know that you think it looks great so far.
Yes it does look great.... but you did the right thing .. when you are tired then rest... it is easy to get excited and want to continue, but sometimes this is when we make mistakes.... work on it slow and at a nice pace, and before you know it you will be flying..!!

Thanks, I'll be sure to pace myself :) I'm excited and want to build up what content I can, but I don't want to burn myself out early on either. I already know I'm not going to get as much done as I'd like to tonight and that's okay. I'll just pick it back up later today, I have some knitting I'd like to get finished anyway :D
exactly ... when i get tired i rest, just sometimes taking 30 minutes away from the screen is enough.... i'm sure there are some dirty dishes i need to be getting on with actually :)
