The reason I ask this question is because I am currently unemployed and don't have "money" to pay for the hosting/domain and premium membership. The only things I have right now
Greetings Abdullahi!
I've ranged far and wide in the Internet marketing scene, and if there is any place you can begin a profitable online business for free, Wealthy Affiliates is it.
You have to be willing to put in the time though - for the following two items:
- you have to follow the lessons Kyle has laid out in the "Get Started Here" series and in the "Affiliiate Bootcamp" - both free
- you have to be persistent and consistent in applying what you learn to your blog.
Patience and persistence will win the day!
Dennis
Only phase 1 of the Affiliate Bootcamp is free Abdullahi. My suggestion is that you work your way through the two free series (Level 1 of the "Getting Started" series, and Phase 1 of the Affiliate Bootcamp) - and that you apply what you learn as you build your first website or two for free on SiteRubix. It doesn't get much better!
For a while you can also participate in the Live Chat with questions, and ask questions yourself of the membership. Very few go unanswered!
Once that trial period has ended, you can continue to learn and build your blog for free as described above, and you can also use the search bar at the top of the page to find additional resources to help if you run into a problem.
All this for free! There's no cost for any of it - so there is no concern about repaying your investment. Once you're satisfied with the worth of this site, become a Premium member. That way you risk nothing.
By the way, you should plan on 3 - 6 months before you begin seeing a return on your efforts. That's what I meant when I referred to being patient.
Give it a ride!
Dennis
Patience is key. The thing is though, as of right now, I am a premium member so I have all the certification series and all the phases of Affiliate Bootcamp available to me for this month! Does that change your view of the situation?
No change, Abdullahi. It's just that now you'll be playing catch up, paying a bit for membership while you work for the first bit of online income.
Is it doable? Absolutely!
Will you struggle with it? Absolutely! :)
Just. Don't. Quit.
Dennis
Man, I think you're going to have to find a job for immediate income, or if you have anything worth selling that you're willing to pay with, put it on Ebay. Or, maybe you'll have some luck, and you'll make a few quick sales even though that's not typical.
That's what I was expecting in a way. So lets say I am committed and "lucky", how do I go about it? Just by finishing and understanding the different courses outlined?

Is there a way my business could pay for itself?

I already went premium, so it does not apply to me.
