Does hoping for instant success lead to disillusionment
Its been 3 months now on WA and I've managed to get a website up and running. There have been some hurdles along the way and I'm sure most of you can relate to the challenges that show up when you want to start to change the direction of your life financially while still keeping the other parts of your life running at full steam.
I remember hearing and seeing a lot of comments around the 3 month mark as being the milestone for expecting to receive your first income. I remember how I just couldn't wait to get that income and I even planned to do it in 2 months.
I have not yet received any income but I have learnt something which is more valuable to me, that is, 3 months is a short space in the grander scheme of life and we should not be short sighted and place our hopes on instant, rapid success or we will just get disappointed and give up way to early.
The great things in life often take time to happen, just how much of time is a mystery and what makes the whole journey so fun. Enjoy it and don't give up.
