Notebooks for training

Ever found some awesome training in wealthy affiliate or anywhere else? Chances are that the training is very amazing and helpful to you. So you 'pop-in', learn for the day, and then shut the website down (Maybe ou are going home from work/school).

It so happens that a few days later you may have forgotten what the training was all about, in addition to the url of the training and the trainer too! Daym, it has happened to me lots of times. Has it to you?

So the best thing is to keep a notebook (Even a small one can do), wehere you will keep the information (training, url, user etc) for future reference. Personally, I NOW do it!

P.S: Don't use pieces of paper, as you or somebody else might use it as TP, or even burn it. You don't want to loose all that info, right?

I am open to any comments and suggestions.

Thanks

With all the technology today we seem to have forgotten about the good old reliable pen and paper. I use a notebook for my bible study as well as WA funny thing is if someone were to find it I would probably be the only one who understands it with all my random notes and stuff lol

Hi ABakhrani. Yes I also have a few notebooks. I like the Black and white covered Composition Books. Old School. Then I label the front so I know what is inside. Thanks for reminding us that good old pen and paper are still around. Have a blessed day.

I have a notebook where I jot down tips and ideas but if I'm on the go, I'll just type everything in my IPhone notes app so that I won't forget. Favourite blogs and training URLs are bookmarked in my laptop.

iphone, tablet, etc are good idea, but we need backups, and there is no better backup than paper (notebooks for that, not just rubbish paper!) with scribbles from pen.

And yeah, some of it will only be known by the author of the writing (scribble)

Good idea. I put them in my iPad Notes app. But you can also save the URLs on your Profile page

What if it gets lost?

Good point!

I am not the most organized person either; though I am getting better.

I think a spiral notebook is a good tool.

I love spiral notebooks! I just need to know how to organize the ones I have....they're piled in a box, :P. Lol.

1

Just a thought: You should label the spiral notebooks, as all of them without lables look like quintuplets, lol!

Excellent tip. :) I used to write things down on pieces of paper or little Post It Notes, telling myself I would put them in a notebook later. That didn't work so well, lol. It's much better to use a notebook in the first place.

Than for sharing.

You are welcome.

By the way the note book becomes a 'one-stop shop' for all your thoughts, knowledge, and maybe ideas!

Thanks for the tip. I started keeping a journal recently so that I can keep track of everything I am doing.
