Passion or Money
If you are an affiliate marketer there's no doubt you've struggled with finding a niche. Most of the advice you've been give is to either follow your passion or follow the money. For me following one or the other wasn't much help.
I’d like to share this bit of insight from Mark Cuban. You may or may not care for him and generally speaking I am ambivalent. However, what he said here resonated with me.
“Telling someone to follow their passion is the worst possible advice you could give someone.
Time is the most valuable asset you don’t own. You may or may not realize it yet, but how you use or don’t use your time is going to be the best indication of where your future is going to take you.
Let me make this as clear as possible:
1. When you work hard at something you become good at it.
2. When you become good at doing something, you will enjoy it more.
3. When you enjoy doing something, there is a very good chance you will become passionate or more passionate about it.
4. When you are good at something, and passionate and work even harder to excel and be the best at it, good things happen.
5. Don’t follow your passions, follow your effort.It will lead you to your passions and to success, however you define it.”

You don’t need to be passionate about the product at the beginning, but you MUST be passionate about the process and the outcome."
This has been particularly helpful for me. I love to cook and I love to play and coach baseball. I also like tennis and golf but I don’t want to write about or build a business around any of those hobbies. Believe me I've tried.
I can write all day about drop shipping, product sourcing, E-commerce platforms, shopping carts, etc. Ironically, I don't feel passionate about it. Maybe I am and I just don't know it. I just published a 108 page Kindle book on this and felt effortless.
The point is don't get hung up over the "passion" or "money" question. As Mark said, "follow your effort". It will lead you to your passion(s).

Sounds to me like you're a good fit for the Mark Cuban approach to becoming passionate about a product that will lead to online marketing success. I certainly understand how you arrived at your niche selection.
