Top 200? say what?

Ranked in the Top 200? Say What?

So this came as a surprise. Funny, last time I checked I was somewhere in the 1k ranking range, but all of a sudden I got a congratulatory message saying I am in the top 200!! I am still a bit shocked and feel like I should be waiting for a, "Oops sorry we made a mistake message" to arrive! Ha.

A Bit of Schmoozing

Recently, I have been more engaged with the community and dedicating more time to my sites, but I had no idea I was putting in enough work to be in the top 200. That is pretty exciting and I am happy to be recognized as someone who is reliable for other members to reach out to and knowledgeable enough to actually help others on here.

Anyway, thought I would share, if I can do it, anyone can! I work 3 jobs and blog in my limited spare time.

Just Know Thyself

I will say the only reason I have been able to get anything done at all is that I actually enjoy writing and learning new things. Without those two qualities, I would not be progressing like I am. So, if you are like me and actually enjoy this type of work, GO YOU! Just Keep Running Up That Hill. (I frequently refer back to that post when I need some motivation or a reminder as to why I am working so hard for something that quite honestly may never show much of a financial reward.) You never know what may come from hard work.

The inverse is also true, however, If you despise writing and think you know everything already, cut your losses, and move on. No one can help you until you accept how much you have to learn.

Know It All

During my recovery journey, I constantly remind myself of one thing:

The minute I think I know everything is the moment I actually know NOTHING AT ALL. Basically, it means thinking you know it all is always a bad sign. If you think you know everything, you have actually forgotten the most important thing that there is to know. You failed to remember there is always something else to learn! If I start to get complacent, my downfall is not far away.

What Could The Future Hold?

By no means does this unexpected rise in the WA ranks mean I am anywhere near the level I hope to get to. I mean I would really like to start making a bit of dough, at some point!! However, I must be doing something right if WA is noticing it, right? Guess we will see.
