Keep Running up that Hill
So, I am almost finished with my last lesson in the training and the year is ending. With the new year comes reflection and goal setting. I want to set a blog schedule for the new year. So, after โ๏ธChristmas I will be pulling a calendar out and getting detailed!!!
I got some great news this last week. For any of you who have followed my story, you know that I am in recovery from substance abuse and domestic violence. For more details, check out my bio on my profile. In short, I had to leave law school a few years ago with one class to complete.
It was a long road to get where I am at in my recovery and I am still walking it everyday. Infact, I will walk it for the rest of my life. Trust me, when someone in recovery starts to think they have reached the end of their recovery road (aka thinks they have it all figured out), a relapse is imminent. The road to recovery is infinate...
...Almost like the road to online business success. There is never a moment when you can start to think you have made it or that you have it all figured out There is always more to learn or perfect. If you stop, someone will jog up behind you, smile and nod, g'day,'...
...and all of sudden, you lose your first page ranking.
This analogy interests me in that it showcases the evils of getting cocky. Note, I said cocky not confident. ๐
Anyway, I am no where near feeling cocky considering I haven't made a dime yet from my online undertakings. However, it's a good message.
So now for the good news. I have been in constant communication with the ABA and my law school(which conveniently lost its accreditation as soon as I was ready to complete my last class.). After months of emails and baring my soul to complete strangers, I finally got an answer.
I will be able to complete my last course in the spring semester. Pretty much the best Christmas gift I could have asked for. ( Even though this makes me a masochist because law school is not something I would call easy peasy or enjoyabe.)
I got this far though so there was no way in hell I was going to stop moving forward.
As soon as I get my new year's blog/school schedule together, you all will be the first to see it.
Merry Christmas. ๐ฏ

Nice linking, Also love the song. Alice In Chains, down in a hole is also another favorite. Well done on the recovery. It is with you every day. I know.
Peace and love
