List of things this newby did
Hi, since it still is not so clear what I could do as a newby, I decided to organise this sh*tload of information for myself a bit.
- Started my 'official training', doing as much as I wanted. I definitely did not share this with friends yet, especially since I don't know yet if I will be able to succeed. So far, I would give my friends something like the list I'm making here ... so that they don't drown (english is our second language, and most are less computer-savy and less risk-taking then I am).
- Started my 'unofficial training': looking into some of potpiegirls (is that correct?) video's, which got me to get an account at (not in order, this is for later on):
photo bucket squidoo clickbank e-bay seo-book.com
ODP twitter bloglines vimeo yahoo digg
- started my first squidoo-lens (on caryoga :-) since I want to keep having fun while doing it: potpiegirls version was too much like a 'job' ... she's right of course, but, I'm in training, and I want to keep off of the dropoutlist)
- read some posts, thanked a few buddies, read some blogs, looked around ...
It's a short list, yet it is something I will work on. Looking forward to being able to open up lesson to from 'the godfathers' :-) tonight (10 hours to go).
Lieven

Good beginning. If your friends are anything like mine, they'll just wait it out until the body snatchers release their victim.
I got lots of negative energy from family and friends when I first started. Now that I do this fulltime, they all brag about me. Luckily I don't get my self worth from others. My advice is to go through the Action Plan step by step. Pick a niche that is a passion, so it doesn't feel like a "job". Everything I do with IM is to support the Arts, that is my passion. I also advise you check out Jay's mind map on his magistudios blog to help you see the BIG picture.
Sounds pretty familiar--including the PotPieGirl part. I'm new here too. Good luck, Lieven!
