My First Month at Wealthy Affiliate - Andrew Jones
At the start of the year I was doing some in depth research into online training, website creation and top class website hosting.
At the time I was looking to move my websites to another hosting company and also looking for an online training membership site to keep up to date with all the changes in SEO, Social Media, Wordpress etc.
So I was looking for:
- The best Industry Leading Hosting provider with excellent customer service.
- A membership site which was highly rated by its existing members.
- Training on SEO (search engine optimisation) to enable my sites to score high in the rankings.
- A Social Media training platform to keep up with all the ongoing changes in the social media industry.
- A top class Affiliate Program which genuinely rewarded members for introductions and signups.
- The latest and best affiliate training available.
This was going to be a big ask and I was expecting quite an expense to join a number of memberships which would cover my requirements but I was prepared to invest in myself both in money and time to achieve my goal of a thriving online income.
After much searching and a few weeks of burning the midnight oil I came across WA (Wealthy Affiliate) and decided to join as a free member and invest a week studying the platform to see how many of my requirements could be met before looking at any oher options.
Guess what? I found everything I was looking for in my list above all in the one membership!
I don't believe the platform here at WA can be bettered anywhere on the web and I put a lot of time and effort trying to find anything close to what is being offered here.
So, Thank You Wealthy Affiliate and every member here who has welcomed me and answered any questions I had.
Needless to say I became a premium member the first week and am loving it here, progressing nicely through the training and been invited/accepted into the Super Affiliate Program for this year.

Like you, I spent a lot of time searching "Ways to make Money online" but, I did not even know what I was searching for nor did I have any criteria to base my search on. I was just looking to see what was out there.
I think it was only through luck or maybe divine intervention that I found WA, for which I am totally grateful. I found survey sites, (signed up for a few but no real money there), and something else that did not pull me in like WA.
I signed up for the free membership as well just to have a look around. As it happened it just at the time when WA was offering the Black Friday deal so, after a few days I jumped aboard and haven't looked back.
That was 2 years ago and there have been a few improvements since then AND the price has stayed the same AND there are no upsells, (well...unless you want to upgrade Jaaxy).
Good on you for what you have been able to accomplish so far. We just have to stay focused and our dreams will come to be.

You are very welcome. I know from reading your post that you are already familiar with all of this so it brings me even more confidence that I have chosen a great program. Simply because I am bran spanking new and was not sure what I have gotten into. But I do know I have enjoyed every step of the way.

Thank you. I wish you much success within WA. What I learned here is that affiliate marketing is not difficult to do but you need to stick to the basics and implement all the steps you learn in the training. While going through the training I additionally look up Jay's live video classes for more detailed information on various topics. Great platform and the greatest thing of all is that your success depends entirely on.. You!
Yes I agree with you that everyone is so helpful here that they can really change your mind about any previous scam or discontent you have had previously. I love it here.
