Money,money,money.
Sitting with hubby yesterday afternoon, getting deeper engrossed in a Halloween chiller, when the phone rang. On the other end was a cheerful, go getter type of young man trying to convince me of the virtues of being an Amazon Affiliate! I told him I was involved with something else at which point for the next ten minutes he tried to get me to buy into their program. It sounded too good to be true, and as these things usually are, I think it was!
He offered to build me a 200 page website, at first for nothing, and later turned out to be $200?? Apparently "all I would have to do" would be spend a little time maintaining and would magically receive 10% on anything sold!! I am a great believer in working a little harder than that for money..no one is going to just hand it to you.
He said he imagined I had already spent a bundle on this program at which point I told him of WA. He was shocked at the idea of getting so much for so little. I told him I was deeply involved with WA, at this point, and didn't want to "muddy" the water with something else.
After we exchanged niceties, his pitch voice had slowed down considerably, and he hung up! I'll bet dollars to donuts, he went to check out WA.

Ya been down that road with these cold calls from Amazon, they don't like the word no, pity you couldn't have given him your link so you could get benefit from his sign up. Good going by the way. Cheers Daragh
