Amazon - update to the current situation.

So, as some of you are aware, I had a problem with the ads I had displayed on my site listing products that were linked to amazon.

As an overview, I was simply copying and pasting pics and text links to the products (which I now know was the absolute wrong way of doing it), then I found out that there were, lets just say "other", ways to add the product links.

Through a little digging, and some feedback from other members, I found out that it looks like the way amazon wants things to be done has changed in the last couple of months, and now folks that have been doing it the way that was "correct" before, may now also lead to someone's site being shut down for not following the correct guidelines.

Also, the training I found on WA all lead me to the same couple of videos. Please understand, I'm no tech savvy guy by any means, but, from what I can gather, the training here is also defunct, and could lead to getting my site shut down.

Fast forward to today.....

I found out this morning that amazon is pushing heavily into using a plug in called "Ad Inserter". It appears that it is optimized to use the generated ads from amazon in a way that it won't interfere with the usage policies, and is designed for optimized use in wordpress.

Is this the case? I honestly don't know. I just found out about all of this and have yet to do any REAL testing of its function. That is my next step today.

Look, I just wanted to give a follow up to my post from yesterday and let everyone know what is going on.
