My first days at WA

It is exactly ten days since joining the program and what have I achieved? Not much really by way of progress towards the goal of having an up and running website in a month.

Most times I browse around the platform, getting familiar with the navigation and feel. Thus far I am highly impressed. As far as the learning goes, I have completed Lesson 3 in Get Started Here and Lesson 2 in Affiliate Bootcamp. I need to double up my effort!

In trying to identify the reason why I move at a snail pace I am confronted head on with a reality (or is it apparent) that I have to change pretty soon or otherwise forget I ever joined WA, and that is I am not a fan of 'Content Creation'.

I have read somewhere that to be a successful Internet marketer you have to be good at creating content. I join WA and I'm told Content is King, so what do I do? Go with the flow or ship out? I choose the former, I am here to stay!

Very nice blog. I like how honest you are.

I very much relate to this as the thought of consistently creating new, relevant content for my site seems daunting. I'm just beginning to understand why content creation is a big key, as it will help you get ranked on search engines (I believe) and it provides new information for your chosen audience. I think if we really take some time to think about different keywords and key areas within our particular niche, we should be able to come up with some ideas for content.

I wish you success.

Hello Seleri! Yes, you do have to be good at content writing, but you don't have to be great. In due time you will get there.

I have the same issue, but since I've been a part of WA, I see myself improving as time goes by. This is what I've been doing and it has helped tremendously.

First of all, recognize what you have accomplished. You have achieved more than you're giving yourself credit for. With the lessons you have completed, review and ask yourself, did you know that before? What exactly have you learned that was new? If you're having trouble with this, let me help. Read my blog Secondly, you can change the course...your course. You need to choose which training you want to do. "Getting Started" or "Affiliate Bootcamp"? If you just want to get your website built and understand everything that comes with the "Getting Started", then take that route. But if you want to earn as you learn then go the "Bootcamp" route. Doing both will only delay you and your progress as well as frustrate you. I know because I found myself doing exactly what you're doing. Exploring, doing both programs and trying to avoid content writing...lol

HERE ARE 3 TIPS THAT MAY BE OF USE FOR YOU:
*** Keep a notepad and pen handy at ALL times You neve know when a thought will hit you and before you know it, you will have plenty of content.
*** When you respond to a comment, don't just comment and move on. Put some thought into it then hang around. Read others comments, I mean you're already "browsing", RIGHT? By doing these 2 little simple steps will improve your writing skills and unlock some pretty cool stuff stored in that "memory bank" of yours :)
*** Remember, the end game is to
- Identify the problem "pain"
- Address the problem
- Then provide a solution

Think about your Internet Cafe and what you have learned thus far....I'm sure you can come up with SOMETHING to write about. Whether it be, recipes, tips on running a "brick and mortar" coffee shop, the "do's and don't", what to expect, so forth and so on. Or pick an area of your employment in Information Tech Space and do the same. You already know the ins and outs of these two industries and if either one of them was something that you really enjoyed and/or had a passion for, then writing about it will be a heck of a lot easier than you think.

So when you're browsing that platform, getting familiar, be sure to spend some time reading what others are saying about any particular subject or what they're dealing with. Soon you will find your hidden message and/or messages. Before you know, you will have a list of things to write about. Also, the more you respond to others comments, the better you'll get at writing.

Wishing you the much prosperity in your future!
