The Word on the Street is:.
3
How many words is OK?
Sometimes I have said what I need to say and to make a post longer I would just be adding fluff to make it longer. I know I can tent to get a bit wordy with these WA blog posts but for a real post I am writing for the value of the content, not to just make it unnecessarily long.
What is your opinion?
Edited because it said duplicate content. Which it is not.

I find that I usually write longer posts, but then, my school essays (many years ago!) were always long, too. Maybe just me. However, on my recipe site, I have noted that it is not always easy to exceed 1000 words. And I'm ok with that. I write what is necessary.
Your last line--- edited for duplicate. I see that on the WA comment section quite often when I'm leaving comments. It's strange, because I always write original comments. But it happens.
