Did They Get Tired, or Did They Just Get Crazy
I just had an interesting experience. I went to a convenience store to get a link of boudin (a spicy mixture of pork and rice in a casing, Looks kind of like a sausage.
I parked next to a car that had a woman sitting in it by herself. When i walked out of the store she and a man were fist fighting inside the car and screaming and threatening to kill each other. He dragged her out and they were pounding on each other like Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield but I didn't see any ears being bitten off. The woman was built like Mike Tyson.
I felt like I maybe should do something but what? Whose side would I take? I could have called the police but there were other people and the store clerk watching from inside the store. And besides I needed to get home to write a post for my blog (Got in the WA reference) And what if I ended up having to go to court and testify? They were both crazy. Making enemies out of them could have serious later repercussions
Well, anyway i knew better than to get involved and I didn't see that either one of them had any deadly weapons. Not that they didn't have any. Just that i didn't see any.
Years ago I was in a bar and this really trashy looking guy was beating up on this really trashy looking woman. A guy I knew jumped in and started beating up the man. I guess he thought he would be her knight in shining armor, coming to her emotional rescue. Then the woman jumped on his back and was trying to scratch his eyes out while trashy guy started pounding away on him.
Autumns here and the time is right for fighting in the streets boy
But what can a poor boy do, except sing for a rock and roll band
'Cause there just ain't no place in this sleepy river town for a street fightin' man
