Actually I crated two emails but none of them is working, it won't open.

I opened email section, I entered ID and password and it does not open (log in) at all. Do you have any idea what is going on?
Thanx
I advise you to test the copy and paste for errant spaces as I mentioned above...just confirm it...if this is not the case then move onto the other suggestions...
Neil
I did. I am still trying various things. I copied and pasted, I typed and all that. I have to check more. The problem is that I don't know much about that.
Then it could be an issue with your system security...ie, your browser or your security apps are blocking the login...for some reason as yet unknown!
The other thing you could try, is reset the password using the simplest password the system will allow you to use, for example, try 123456ABC or something like that and if you get the same result after you have typed (not copied) the new simple password then you deffo have an issue somewhere else...
If it works, dont forget to change your password back to something more secure...
Someone else will need to help you beyond this Lora because I do not use the WA/SiteRubix/SiteMail stuff so have no experience of it.
Neil
I suppose. I will check everything. I have to get out of this spot asap. I need to study. :)
Yes i know it is a PITA but check it all, and if you can, try the simple password test, this simply eliminates any potential issues with things such as errant chars that are not supposed to be there.
I used to be the DBA for a user database and in those days for example you could not use chars such as ' " / ; as they would simply get truncated and if your password had one of those in say position 5 it was truncated to 4 chars and then rejected as being too short..the devs did not bother telling vfsitors in those days and so you would never have known as it silently failed, so you could never login until you changed your password, so we used to do this simple test where we would create the password containing the minumum number of chare and types for example 123456ABC or Abc123! or something similar and see if this worked and almost always it did work...
Best wishes Lora

My password is given from WA, it doesn't have anything but letters and numbers. This is weird.
Thank you again.
I solved the problem. I just ignored "do not login" red letters warning and continued. This is what I was told to do.
So far everything is ok. :)
I received one answer so far, but it doesn't help.
I have email and password but it won't login.
What is wrong?

John Newman had a problem like this and marion had him get ahold of support and they fixed it.
Here is the link, hope this helps
When that happened to me support fixed it https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
they'll want you to tell them your username and password so include that in the support ticket.
I did all that and I was told to insert my ID and password which I did many times so far. Nothing new happened.
I think that my computer is a problem, so that means new computer. :(
Thank you for answering my question.
Lora
Zora you dont need a new computer to fix email issues...
Try a different browser if you are logging in via webmail...also you can try to clear your browser cache too...and just confirm (I usually do it by typing the PWD or cutting it from the original setup usually, into text doc, then cutting and pasting into the password box if they allow it) the parameters are infact correct, check there is no space in the front or at the end for example...
If you are using an email client, make sure you check all the requisite info such as user name and password are indeed correct, that you have the correct protocols selected, ie, IMAP or POP, and that you have the correct ports listed, and that you have select the correct server names etc...such as mail.mydomain.com or pop.domainname.com etc...
Alternatively, (dunno if you have already tried this and to be honest I do not use the hosting/mail services here at WA so dont know if this is how it works here) you could simply try doing a password reset, sometimes passwords get truncated if you put an illegal character in (though things are better these days they usually tell you its not allowed) or the password is not sufficiently strong etc...let the system regen you a new password and use that and/or create yourself a new pwd once you in or have the password reset links...
Best wishes
Neil
Do what Nebro is telling you, Your computer is not the problem, after you clear cash and cookies, I have so many different emails with other business's that I had to set mine up with google and MSN, and then it worked perfectly and sends them to my email and to my website.
I am trying, it's still not working.
Thank you so much Neil. I will do everything, actually I am still reading your message. I still have a problem, I'll figure it somehow.
Thanx :)
Lora
Hi Zora, first question, how are you trying to log in? for example, are you logging in via webmail/through a web page? Via email client? Or is there a direct login to the mailbox from WA?
The first thing I would always suggest, check and re-check your details, make sure (if you are copying and pasting for example) there are no spaces front or back, just make sure you have the correct details, be absolutely certain.
I have worked on helpdesk and I cant tell you how many times I have heard people screaming and when you go through their pass word and login id letter by letter they go, ooh no its no an I its a 1 and you say, no its deffo a 'I' according to the system...and even they usually wont accept they had it wrong, and usually the quickest we we solve such issues was to simply generate another password...and give it them and hold on while they login or send it to their backup email...
If after a regen password and you have the correct username/email and you have confirmed that ALL of your required login details are infact correct, then that leaves you with a problem with either something like a firewall, anti-virus, anti-malware, or a plugin on your browser (worth always having a clean browser just for testing, i use FF and chrome for my main stuff and edge or IE when I just need to make its not a browser issue). Beyond software on your machine blocking the connection it then leads to network blocks/issue which is really getting beyond the scope what we can do and you would have be talking to your ISP...
Let me know if you need any more input...
Neil
I am trying to log in through WA. I go to Site Manager, I copy the password and do exactly the same what Kyle did in that video. And it's still not working.
Thank you for asking.
I am still listening to the course 2 lesson 3 and can't move further cos of that.
Ok then do an interim paste, create a new text file and paste it into that...then click somewhere on the blank part of the page to deselect and then do a select all (remember there is nothing else in that file) and make sure that all that is selected are chars, you will see if there is a space front or back...sometimes when you copy from a web page you will pick up erroneous spaces, it is very common.
Even happens in applications such as Microsoft Word too...see my screenshot for what i am talking about, notice front and back there is a space highlighted, once you paste this into the password field, the system will think you want those spaces in there...
You can try to remove the spaces, preferably before you copy and paste or before you press login (I don’t know if this is how it works in the WA panel someone else will have you guide further as I have no knowledge of it)
I cannot tell you how many times an errant space has caused folks no end of frustrations...
Neil
I prefer logging in from WA because I am still not familiar with all the stuff here. I am still learning. It is easier for me to go to Site Manager and from there to my domain or email.
I tried all that what you wrote, it's not working. The easiest way for me is to call my ISP and ask them what to do.
I have to read your messages again so I understand exactly what else to do. :)
Thank you so much. I appreciate that.
Lora
Zora, do the test for space first, your ISP will not be able to help you with this unless they are purposefully blocking the domain name, which is possible but unlikely...you can of course check and let us know the result.
I would suspect they will tell you it is beyond their scope and remit...My feelings are that since you have the same issue on 2 different addresses, that you are experiencing some issue between the copy and paste, have you tried manually entering the password for certainty?
Neil
Yes, I did it manually.
Okidoki
I did it manually means I TRIED, but still I didn't solve it. :(
Haha it's not okidoki.
When I solve it I'll write it here. :)
For sure take notes and you will have a great training
I meant ok as in ok thanks for letting me know you tried it manually... ;) so I won’t mention that part again, as in ok let’s move to the next step...
You have confirmed all the details are correct, you have confirmed that you have checked for errant spaces and chars, and that you have tried the login manually on a number of occasions. You have confirmed you have reset your browser cache, tried from another browser and that you tried this same process on both email addresses.
So this all being said and done, it is either an issue with your security software, for example, password managers can cause issues on some sites, so I suggest disabling it if you have one, just for testing, or an issue with the network, and the first thing there would be to reset the DNS on your machine (If you are able) and do a power down/up of your router (not just a soft power cycle) this will force all of your router connections to the ISP severs to be severed and new ones established and your machine will build a new DNS cache, or there is an issue with Site Mail, again unlikely as we would expect high numbers of folks chiming in with issues from all over, it could just be however that you were unfortunate in the timing and when you created your addresses the system was ‘glitching’ for some reason.
I cannot really help you anymore Lora, as I have no experience of the login from Site Mail...
Someone else will need to pick up the stick, and I suggest you contact the site techies again to see if they can walk you through the process/issues and get you fixed up.
Kind regards
Neil
@ MPollock Of course. I am going to read all this until I learn everything by heart. This is so valuable for me, and if others are reading that's even better.
This is great. I appreciate this so much.
Thank you all.
Lora
If I don't succeed from laptop, it's not at home now :( , then I will ask site techies again, we have to solve this.
I know how this looks like, I work as an admin on some FB pages and writing and working with people is very demanding. I know the effort that others are putting in all this to teach us. That is great!
Regards to you,
Lora
Lora dont worry about how it looks, it is fine, you are in trouble, frustrated and want to move forward, we are here to help where we can and if we can...
It absolutely will get resolved at some point...
Best wishes and kind regards
Neil
Thanx a lot.
