After some thought and looking at quite a bit online I think I need to make changes. It really threw me off when the steps said to add my bio. I did that but it isn't related

Your bio is all about you, so of course it's pertinent to your site and niche. When building an audience, there's a trust factor involved. That's why your bio is important. When your audience gets a sense of who you are, they are much more willing to follow your posts and believe in what you say.
You're progressing just fine. Keep with the training, follow what Kyle asks, and take the training lesson by lesson, course by course :)
