The government and facebook
I followed Kyle's lesson. The one where he told us to open accounts like Facebook, Pinterest, Google Plus and Twitter. So I did. Since then, I've been averaging 50 friend requests on Facebook a day. Is this normal? When Facebook first came out it took me almost a year just to get a hundred friends. I get more email from face book than Wealthy Affiliate.
I check the profiles and they seem legit. Lots of mutual friends and such, and most of them claim to be online marketers or have some type of business, so I figured like minded people right? I closed my Facebook page about 3 years ago because I know it was really set up by the government because they are so nosy about what the general population is doing. Like we're going to set up a rebellion or something. ( Wonder why they think that!) Thats a whole other subject though. What are anyone's opinion on the whole world being on Facebook. Considering the billions of accounts, its knocking google out of the water as far as a marketing strategy in my opinion.
P.S. Is this an automated type thing? It reminds me of My Space. Ugh!

Facebook has become a social magnet for Internet gurus. So they will accept your friends request quickly hoping to be able to sell there goods and services to you. That is just my take on it.
I am on Facebook, but mostly for reading others' views and hardly share my views or anything. So I'm not sure what the new FB under WA work, will bring. If it's for the betterment of my WA business, them I'll go for it!
I'm hoping to be able to develop relationships with these people so they can support my products, so in this context Its good.
I think FB has been an amazing platform. I have been sharing inspirational writing and images for a while and I have reached the 5,000 friend limit and over 7,000 followers so far (not to mention my fan pages). For me it has been the best interactive platform and because of it I made my first money from the people I refered to my website.
The reason it works for me is because people can see me as a real and genuine person wishing to help us all and you can reply easily to their comments and share lots of great posts. I have all the main social network platforms set up now too. I believe to just let go of the government fear thing (don't let anything stop your success) and create from the heart. :)

Facebook is actually starting to loose alot of accounts. Alot of young people dont like the fact that their parents can see what they are doing and they are leaving in their droves. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Google+ works well but I don't like how they force you to open a Google+ account in order to open a YouTube Channel. Just a way of getting more accounts open on Google+
I wish I new what the secret was. My friend says I have a nice pic on there,but my email account is blowing up. I'll be doing some heavy advertising for my site on here.

If it is for your business page you will still get those who want to friend you might be like minded people or people who are interested in your stuff, it is up to you to choose
