Hi there! I wanted to write a quick blog about something that I know can change things a lot. I have been here over a year and I am making money on my website. One of the reasons is SEO, but that's not the only part. It's the email list and the social media as well. What I see in a lot of websites is a popup or an opt-in that only offers a newsletter to you email list. This makes it hard to get an actual email list. It's much better to offer something specific that you know of your audience might need. Think of an eBook or checklist. If you want to make an eBook and you find that to much of a husle, then write content with a strategy including keywords.

What I mean by that is that you should make a list of possible articles you want to create that together could end up as an eBook. For example, you have a website about losing belly fat. You can make 6 articles using the same but slightly different keyword surrounding food recipes to lose belly fat. After the 6 articles you can put them together on word or whatever you like voila, you have an eBook to offer. Change this into a pdf and make a link for this pdf so you can send it in an email straight away.

After this, you can send two email sequences. One is to give value and the other one is to extract value from the customer. Giving value means, creating a bond and keep sharing your articles, and with extracting I mean 'selling' whatever product you sell.

Then there is the social media. This can be used to grow your email list by giving away your freebie (lead magnet). Doing Facebook ads straight away to a product is not going to work. Specially not to cold traffic. But sending people to your landing page (squeeze page) where people can only download the freebie and won't be distracted by anything else, is the best way to advertise on Facebook. Also, before you send advertisement to your audience, create a Facebook pixel and install it in your wordpress. Now you can do remarketing if you hav had enough visitors to your website of people who are logged into Facebook.
