I think some people think Wealthy Affiliate is here to help them to make money online hence when they don't make money after being at Wealthy Affiliate for a while, they point the finger at Wealthy Affiliate. This is a mistake or the wrong mindset. NO ONE can help you to make money. If you are looking for that kind of help you have a long wait coming at the least but mostly you are an easy prey for scams. Scams feed on people who want to be helped to make money.
Why would anyone be spending time to help you to make money? Wouldn't they be using this effort to become millionaires them-self? Actually their pretending to help you to make money with some auto program for you is their process of making money for them-self. Helping them-self off of your pocket!
The next time you think Wealthy Affiliate failed you, remember this blog. It's up to you to learn what is offered at Wealthy Affiliate and then use it to make the money. This is the correct process. You get all the secrets to making money online, you get the support and services you need and then making the money is up to you!
Don't be fodder for scams! Learn, apply and earn.

Hi Fiffy, You are so right. When I was here the first time. I thought that I knew everything especially when i had finished my training and I made my share of mistakes and so I left Wealthy Affiliate.
Now that I am older and a little wiser, I came back for many reasons but the two most important reasons is to get me writing once again and to relearn everything that I had missed the first time around about learning how to make money.
The program works if you don't try to reinvent the wheel as it were. I have been taking better notes than the first time around. And I have picked up on things that I missed the first time around as well. Now i just have to start writing the content. But first I have to finish my training. Right now I am half way through level 8.
No more excuses on why I haven't done anything. It is time to hit the ground running and get to work. Thank you for writing an inspiring post.

Thank you for your response to this post. It echoes things I did too first time around.
It's almost like we rush through things in the beginning and even skipp some things hoping to quickly get to the end and to see money magically coming in! When this doesn't happen we get disappointed and blame WA.
Like you, my second time around is with more maturity and balance.

A hard truth most don't seem to get, I suspect because their whole lives they have been fed this lie that they need others to do the heavy lifting.
It reminds me of this old martial arts movie called Circle of Iron, where folks are trying to make this dangerous journey to get to the book of Life that holds the answers to life.
One warrior makes it, and every page in the book is a mirror, hah hah.

Thank you for turning up here! The lessons I have learned in Wealthy Affiliate do not apply online only for me. WA opened my eyes to how life works overall.
As you put it, the heavy lifting is for us to do after acquiring the knowledge of how to do it. Without personal heavy lifting, nothing happens. It's just that little sticky point to change and success is guaranteed.
The training is not the magic wand. It is only the way and an eye opener. The magic wand is what we decide to do and make the effort to make it happen.

Great post. I often have people that check out my website ask if I can make money though WA. I respond that I have learned how to monetize my website to make online online through WA training. But, making money on line is up to me.

Spot on. I can relate as I am an ESL teacher and I tell my students, I can not make you learn English. I am a facilitator and show people how to learn English, but ultimately it is up to them to learn or not.
The biggest problem these days is people not taking responsibility for their decisions or lack thereof.
