My First Month with Affiliate Marketing

Wow! Just have to say it's been an absolute whirlwind month and the start of my affiliate marketing journey! I wanted to post this sooner at the 2 week mark but thought I'd keep pushing and see just how far I could get before patting myself on the back.

This post isn't to brag, but to inspire and show you that what's possible. You too can achieve this!

In this first month, I finished level 3 of the Online Entrepreneur training, and launched my website. I didn't quite reach my goal of 10 articles published (only at 7 total) and indexed but I wrote a heck of a lot (not enough time to refine everything to the standard that I would like).

My primary focus was exploring and learning various methods of traffic such as Facebook, (groups, ads), Instagram, and others.

I created a YouTube channel launched (just barebones at the moment, getting some early content out). I set up an Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok account for my affiliate marketing business too.

I've also signed up for a number of affiliate programs related to my niche and my next goal is to continue tying everything in to become an "authority".

All this while also working my accounting job and taking some time on the weekends to spend with my friends and family. It feels like I'm working 14 hour days sometimes, but it'll all be worth it in the end.

It's crazy to me that in mid-June, I had no idea what I was doing, how to get started, or how to actually become an affiliate marketer.

I didn't want to pay for something that seemed like it was just marketed by some YouTube guru's about how they became rich and you have to shell out hundreds of dollars for their "masterclass courses" before you even get started.

This brings me to Wealthy Affiliate. I actually only heard about Wealthy Affiliate by seeing it in the background of one of these videos, and my journey started from there.

Once I made an account in the last week of June, I saw the value and went Premium almost right away. It was one of the best decisions I've made thus far.

I've actually made a few sales of Wealthy Affiliate as well but I won't get into that too much just yet. Stay tuned for my next post!

My biggest goal for August is to prepare to launch a campaign for another product and would really love to share with you how it goes. I might not launch it until September as my August will be hectic.

I'll be moving into a new house and getting ready to welcome a tenant into my current property. My goals won't be so ambitious, but it'll be exciting nonetheless. Time to scale everything up, and double down on all my unpublished posts!
