Fishing for Keywords

Last Update: February 24, 2017

On March 27th, 2015 I promoted Jaaxy Keyword tool in one of my blog posts. After writing and publishing the article, following Jay’s tips from his wabinar

The blog went viral. Getting 267 views the first day.

(The first day) Whew! That was amazing.

I earned two Jaaxy sales that day. One person stayed for one month but the other Enterprise subscription continued for nine months.

“The Magic of Words”

You may be wondering what the magical words were that hooked those fish. Here is a screen shot of the paragraph that explained how to use keywords.

I did a search on Jaaxy for Fishing Lures and the results page looked like this:

I picked the keyword Fishing Lures because I have a lot of friends who like to fish. It was interesting to see so many low hanging fruits in that search.

Obviously, the people who read my post from Reddit were probably internet writers and had never heard of Jaaxy. The screenshot hit home with a lot of writers. They could clearly understand what to write about in one peek at the Jaaxy keyword search results.

I love using a keyword tool because I don’t want to waste my time. Writing takes time, so it is very important to write content that will rank higher in the search engines.

Take advantage of the WA Keyword tool. Don’t write another blog until you have checked the related keywords. Remember you can’t catch a fish without the right bait or in an area that has been over fished.
