I have done many things in my life. Some were good, some were not so good. I have been married for over 20 years when my husband died. We had two daughters together, that were 7 and 8 year of age at that time.
That was my first big challenge I guess. Being left with two children and two businesses. Our main business was a Transport Company in Switzerland, that's where I am from, my second business, I was a self employed Massage Therapist.
So, there had some decisions to be made. I decide to sell our Transport Company and kept going with my Massage Business. Of course back then were lots of rules and regulations and Benefits would not cover Massages. So I decided to be a registered Nurse and went to Nursing School. After I got my diploma, I did both, I worked as a nurse and did massages as well as raising my kids. At that time I could get registered with Health Benefits and they would cover the therapies I did.
1998 was when one of my daughters decided, she wants to go to Canada. Me myself had that idea for a long time before, but never did because I took care of my sick parents until they died, then the kids were in a "not ideal" age..... .
There were many reasons why not to do it,but not many to actually do it. So, that was the cue for me to "last minute" find out what to to, so we could all together live in Canada. It took us 1 1/2 years until we got the immigration papers.
So, now we're in Canada, non of us could speak English back then, the girls finished high school here, so they could go to college and get their education.... . So now it's my turn. But easier said than done. I could not register here in Canada as a nurse, couldn't even work as a Health Care Aid, but lucky me, I could register as a Massage Therapist. Which I did and worked for several years. Life goes on and I wanted to do some more education, which brought me totally away from my origin. Now I'm working as a Health & Safety Adviser in the Construction Industry, which is quite slow now too.
After trying to find something else, I decided to look into Working From Home. I came across a lot of "opportunities", like selling Traffic, Binary Option trading, Network Marketing and so on. Again some good, some not so good. I've spend a lot of energy, sleepless nights and of course money, until I found the right support at Wealthy Affiliates. So, that means I'm still doing it and I'm excited about it.
I'm not saying all of them were bad. So, I'm hopping with me sharing this with you, we can both be successful.
Thanks for reading and your support!
PS: I might come back from time to times and make some changes.
