How Much Can You Earn Owning your own Business
I think this is a reasonable question that people ask, but its a very complicated question to answer. Anyone that tells you are going to make X amount of dollars is just fluffying your pillows and trying to convince you of something on their agenda. Online and offline there are a lot of scams to watch for, but a tell-tell sign that something is a scam, is the income they are promising you in the short period of time and the hard work that needs to be done on your part is very little, now pay me this to get you started.
Basic Principal - Hard Work Brings Results-Laziness does not and never will bring anyone success
EVERYONES RESULTS WILL DIFFER
Reasons for being a complicated question because there are so many different factors that play a role in any business starting out and continuing offline or online.
Supply and Demand, Multi Industries have different success rates, trying out different techniques (some work, some don't ), Trends/Fades -Popularity, Audience, Investment Of funds/time/support/knowledge of product/services, being up to date, marketing, Drive and motivation, location, etc..
CAN PEOPLE BECOME A SUCCESS ONLINE-YES OF COURSE and OFFLINE TOO, You See it everyday.
I can only share my personal experiences from my ventures
From Best to Least (this is before joining WA) As I am Still very new I will add information as I grow.
1. Online Business-First Month-$400 Dollars - which is Amazing in this particular industry, usually does not happen from what other owners have told me. It took them close to 6 months before they got that kind of amount. And the amounts they make vary.
After that, have continued to work really hard, into other aspects of this industry-I continue to create my monthly sales, plus offer other services that can increase my profit up to an additional $800 weekly. <--Based on Demand and supply so this fluctuates dramatically. Some weeks - I can make 100 dollars on top of my sales for the week or $800 dollars on top of my sales for the week. Another Aspect, I will be getting involved in real soon is with the Affiliate Programs-Offering a min. of 50% profit that can go as high as 60% of profit sharing-Lifetime-Membership Profit Sharing. I'll Update this and let you know how its going for me at a later time.
As you can see, I just didn't sit still and let things Happened and count on the same o same o, I was changing and adding different things with time. Learning and trying new things.
2. Offline - Sub Contractor in Construction-yes I said it-hard hat and all sometimes - Not Only a Mans World-But I handled all the business not the labor :) First 5 months-only made enough to pay day to day costs of operation and pay back myself the start up costs (which is great) First check written to myself was $158 and it was AWESOME. After that, profits were starting to roll in, but varied based on contracts obtained. Contracts can range in wkly revenue from a few hundreds to a few thousands. ONCE I hit a little bit over 14k. This is a very competitive business, cut throat business and was during the market crash :( 4 Years I ran this business-very profitable and lots of hard work. But the market and the state that I lived in was effected badly by the crash, Lots of people were relocating their families and other big time well known business were closing shop. Was it a fail on my part, not at all. I had standards and obligations to my family and my employees families, I was not going to accept less than the minimum wages on these contracts and pay people slave rates, because that's how bad it was and that's what builders wanted.
I have ventured into other offline/online ventures but these two have been and/are the most profitable for
me so far.
