How to Financially Survive the Lockdown.

How has this lockdown affected you?
I am unfortunately one of those that it has affected quite badly.
I am no longer able to carry on doing what I was previously doing due to the fact that we cannot go out and see clients anymore.
Moreover, our clients are having to scale down operations, cut salaries and even retrench.

I am a marketing partner with EdNVest who facilitate Educational Tax Benefits to any people that pay for education for any of their relatives. This is only applicable in South Africa.
This entire business is done via payroll of the people paying the educational fees and so if payroll is now not functioning as normal, nor are we.
I believe that we will once again be helping people put those extra Rands in their pockets in the future but don’t see this happening in the next 6 months.

So, What Now?

I realized that I needed to find something to do to generate an income until things go back to normal. The problem was what?

I went online and searched for online business opportunities. There are hundreds online, but the problem was to find the correct one.
The major problem is that a huge majority of them are either scams, extremely difficult to follow and do or just plain too expensive.
I decided to look for as many of the following criteria in a business as possible to make it viable.

These are the criteria I looked for:

1. Must be affordable.
2. Must be simple enough for someone like me that is not all that computer literate to follow.
3. Must have a comprehensive training program.
4. The training must be in both video and text.
5. There must be 24-hour backup as I live in South Africa and when I will be online training, the people in the States will be sleeping.
6. It must teach me how to make residual income.
7. I must be able to make money worldwide and not be restricted geographically.
8. It must be something that I will be able to do from home.

So, I started looking using these 8 pointers.
Of all the various opportunities that I found; I believe that Affiliate Marketing ticked more of the boxes that any other opportunity.
As with most opportunities, if you have money available to invest, then there are quite a few other opportunities that are very viable.
I decided that my main criteria would be finances as I did not have too much money to invest.
