I can see your frustration of not getting what you want with your site ranking friend. But keep in mind that there are many ways to get seen. There are inorganic sources like doing paid ads, social media exposure, influencers, etc. When you establish some serious traffic on your site, Google might see your algorithm and this will probably up your rank as far as the search results go.
If you keep writing valuable posts/contents on your site this will get you ranked faster on Google. All the best!

Hey Christina I think many of us may feel a sense of discouragement when posts are not attaining a high rank despite all the SEO effort made. The thing is that is repeated so many times is that it takes time to build authority particularly in a competitive niche - 6 month to a year and more in other instances.
