Affiliate Marketing Hack - The #1 BIGGEST Commenting Mistake!

Stop posting the same message on social media....

And do this instead!

We've all read it a thousand times:

- “Good post!”
- “Interesting read!”
- “Thanks for the article!“

What do all these comments have in common?

THEY ARE ALL EMPTY WORDS.

There is nothing of any real substance in those statements.

Fluff...

How can you expect to win someone over with fluff?

If you REALLY want to capture someone’s attention, you need to do something drastically different.

Never forget, "DIFFERENT IS BETTER THAN BETTER."

The next time you leave a comment on someone’s post, don’t just leave a short generic comment that offers no actual value.

Instead, leave a well-thought out insight that sparks interest and ultimately moves the conversation forward.

If you can do this consistently as a brand, you will build trust much faster and with much less effort.

Moral of the story?

Stop giving your audience short meaningless comments,

Start giving them high-value ones.!

The same happens with some commenters here in WA.

Or the more memorable?: a WA member asks a question, a commenter answers: "I can't help you, but have good luck finding the answer" or something similar.

If you can't provide any help, why comment at all?

When I answer a comment I usually give full comments. And when I write a post or comment, sometimes give it a title.

Sometimes the title and/or first paragraphs are the contrary of what I want the message to be.

And then you see/read commenters refering to the title or those first paragraphs as they were what I wanted to express.

A clear indication that the commenter didn't read the whole post or comment. Thus, commenting not related to my intended message.

This is very common in Facebook.

I have learned to make short comments and posts for the general public and if I am monetizing those comments and posts.

This is a very long comment for the general public and for Facebook members. Hopefully, not with WA people.

Sincerely,

Luis Antonio

"DIFFERENT IS BETTER THAN BETTER." sums up exactly what I believe. With your permission I am going to take this phrase to heart and shout it from the rooftops, making it the centre of all I say and do.

I know I sound a little over excited, but I've never heard the inanities of what we're forces to read every day expressed in that way before.

Thank you for you illuminating post.

I agree Xoda; connecting with the audience as a brand should be consistent. Yes, you should not give the audience short unthoughtful comments.

However, I don't expect everyone to post engaging comments.
Only those who desire to offer their insightfulness will take the time to write more.

That's like a marketer sending out an email blast and expecting everyone to respond. That will not happen.

Overall, people respond.
Whether it's a short comment or the same comments.

Some people just engage better than others.

More importantly, I look at it as a numbers game.
Out of 100 comments, you may get about 25 or 30 people that commented well.

Point taken! Of course, I will be working on this little gem of wisdom. It kind of reminds me of teaching and hearing other teachers say things like, "good job", "way to go", etc. Not too much information regarding what is going right. Your post has made an impression on me to do better!

This is something I hadn't really been considering, so thank you!
Also, I like that quote: "DIFFERENT IS BETTER THAN BETTER."

Cheers,
Craig
