Day 1 of Affiliate Marketing

After holding it off for two days due to real life, I've got around to check out a website called Wealthy Affiliate. I've first head of it when I was researching for passive income. Swagbucks came up on Google and it was mentioned on another website called Work From Home Journey. It had a post about scam or legal. I created an account on Swagbucks, but I didn't want anything to do with it again about an hour later.

There was a post on WFHJ that caught my eyes. A list of over a hundred way to make money online. Some like website testing sounded like a good idea while some like playing cheap online games were atrocious.

But then the writer claimed that the best way to make money online was to do affiliate marketing. It was about promoting other people's products by using affiliate links on your website. If your visitors click on it and buy the product, you'd receive a cut of the sale.

Of course it wouldn't be easy to earn enough money to make a full time income. As I read the article, I became more interested in it and decided to join to check it out. I clicked on the link which would've given me a few bonus tips that the writer admitted he wished he found them ages ago.

I spent the next couple of hours looking around the website and completing tasks. As soon as I've arrived one of the co-founders spoke to me and welcolmed me to the community. It was prettty cool that a boss had taken the time to speak to me.

The more time I'd spent here, the more I was leading towards the premium. It had a HUGE number of perks should I'd pay for it. Apparently, having a few of them alone would've cost tons of money. Buying a yearly membership for about £275($359) sounded like a massive bargain. It was around the same price as a Nintendo Switch console. Now I know about the non-sterling charges as a different online course had given me, so it would've been around £300 instead. However, that was less than half the price for the bus pass for a year, which would've cost around £850. Maybe I should spend less time on public buses to save money.

By evening, I did something I've never done in my life; creating and uploading a website. I found myself excited, knowing that a website was born in front of my eyes. Its name was World Wide Horror. After watching a training video about finding your niche, an idea hatched into my brain. It would be inspired bu a YouTube channel called Dead Meat.

I should skeptical for considering investing myself into buying another online course since I didn't continue the last two. And yet, this website feel different. It seemed to offer more values than the previous two courses combined.

I'm not ordering premium yet. I want to finish the rest of the stage one training so I can have a better understanding of this company, and whether to change my path to her. Perhaps I'll find my answer tomorrow.

(Since I'm not a Premium member yet, I have to post this blog post today instead of yesterday)

Hi Alex, I think many of us take the long road to get to a source in terms of online marketing and the truth is that there are so many products. platforms and systems out there.

One of the keys, that elevates WA is that it has a constant pricing structure, a sound knowledge base, step by step training, with the resources to utilize that training and one of the best aspects we have the support of a super community as well as technical support from site support.

The total package is what can help folks to attain their goals and aspirations, one of the things lacking in many programs.

Dive in, mate, and create your new future.

Alex

Thank you for your statement. I'm most likely to pay for Premium now.

So how long you've been a member here?

Hi Alex, it seems weird a name, doppelgänger, classic.

Going premium is a good move as you have seen it opens the doors.

I have been here 3.5 years which seem like a week, the online world moves so quickly.

Alex.

I'm used to it. At work, there are at least four Alex.

Premium is awesome. I upgraded to Premium on Day 3 of my trial week in 2014 and I've been here ever since. $359 a year is a lot but still only about $30 each month as an average. Every year since I've been here Kyle and Carson have offered a Black Friday Special where you pay $299 in advance for the year. I took advantage of that and now my monthly average is locked in at that annual rate, so $25/month. Hopefully, they will offer this again in November 2019. Also, check out this post of mine.

I will definitely keep your words in my mind. Should I join the Premium side, I'd prefer to go for the yearly cost.

You can always do the first month at $19 (which works out cheaper than the annual rate) then go yearly before the month is up. You will save about $10.

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep that in mind! :)
