A Note To Future Me

Hey there, Wynnd. It's me, your past self. Congratulations. It looks like you're making it now. You're able to support yourself and you're family. You're not wondering how you're going to pay the bills this month. Like the woman in Proverbs 31, you can laugh at Winter because you know that your children and your animals are all provided for.

It may be uncomfortable for you to look back on this time when things were so uncertain, when Fear constantly hovered just over the horizon of your consciousness, when holding on to Hope was like trying to hold on to a beam of sunlight. But it's important that you remember. Remember how it felt to put that $19 on the line. Remember how afraid you were that it would just be wasted, that it would just be another failed attempt. Remember that there are others in exactly that same posisiton now. Remember to be a source of light and encouragement to them. Be a leader.

There is still a road ahead of you. Like the road that got you to the place where you are now, it will have ups and downs, rewards and challenges. There is yet another future version of us that you must transform into. So don't stop growing. Keep pressing forward into new territory. Keep looking up to your Ultimate Source. He led you to this point, and He will continue to lead you to that future place. Chazak!
