I DID finally finish my first article and with all of your advice I can say that I walked away from my finished product feeling very happy with the results.

When I first started I had the same problem. I picked a niche I love to do so I did a list of what was all involved in that and put together those ideas that flowed with each other and had plenty of ideas for new posts later too. The topics are just what supports the main subject that I chose for the first post. It could be step by step procedures or what promotes your subject. Once you start it will flow for you and then many will comment on your posts to help you make it attractive to readers. Wish you the best.

Personally, I don't think it would hurt to work ahead and go through the section on low hanging fruit. My first post was "Meh". But after going through that section, my second post felt much more focused.

Once you find a narrow enough target, I found that the rest of the post came more easily. I was able to break my target idea into 3 distinct sub-parts and it just flowed. I did several searches in Jaaxy before I got to that point.

From a book a read many many years ago, an instructor asked his students to write about the front of a building. The next day everybody said they had struggled. So he told them to start with the brick below and to the right side of the top window. Just write about that brick and go from there. The next day they came in with way too many words in their article!

That also helps. Research your topic and write down everything that catches your attention. Then gather all that into a post. Just write, don't edit. Then when you have something that's way too long, go back in with your editing hat on and refine it to perfection!

You could try the alphabet soup technique to come up keyword ideas then run them through Jaaxy.
When you find a couple that meets the criteria, write your post based on that.

You could also do some research on your competition to see what type of content they are writing.

Do a search on Google for your niche + blog

Of course, don't copy anyone but looking at some of those sites should spark a few ideas of your own.

Then, when the time comes to write, don't over think it, just start writing whatever comes to mind based on the research you did for the post.

You can always go back and edit later.

I could suggest you make a list - write all, about what you would like to write. it can be long or short list doesn't meter. the most important - there could be some ideas- you need possibility to choose.
those topics, not obligatory should be something completely new. No, but it must be something you are interested in, you have meaning, and you have to say something.
then go and check in Jaaxy key words which you could list within your theme.
and just start to write. it will come naturally and with each article will come easier and easier.
