Here is my question. After doing keyword research and finding l
A special thank you to everybody for taking the time to answer my question. You could have spent the 5-10 minutes you used to answer my question doing something for your online business, but you choose to help me. I am humbled.
You are all gallant knights bringing glory to the WA insignia.
p.s Just as you have helped me, I shall endeavor to do the same.
My sincerest appreciation.

I can't add anything to what the other good folks have advised. You also asked to be pointed to more info. So if you type "keywords and content title" in the search box at the top of this page, a ton of blogs and questions will pop up. Check them out. I'm sure your answers were there too. Good luck with creating your content.
Your keyword will be different if you put different words in between. For example, someone would have to search "skills necessary for affiliate marketing" for your title to come up. With the word "necessary" in it, you have changed your keyword phrase.
It is important to keep the keyword phrases as is like you could re-word the above to say Top 5 necessary skills for affiliate marketing success.

Should keywords and content title appear the same?

I know it takes some time before we can get indexed but on May 11, I authored and published a post titled "back to basics-what is affiliate marketing about-Everything you need t
Title much too long. Could have been: All About Affiliate Marketing
It would have said it all in a nutshell, as they say
Hi Pieces, thanks for the tip. However, my keyword in this instance is "what is affiliate marketing about"
Perhaps I should change my entire title to
"what is affiliate marketing about?- All the answers you need"
Better still: All the answers for Affiliate Marketing
but you really ought to be typing this into Jaaxy and see which one is the one that will have "less competition", "good traffic", and "very high" SEO score. I never decide my titles, I let Jaaxy choose from my phrases. That way you have the best chances for a Google front page.
That precisely what I do. In this case, my target long tail keyword was 'what is affiliate marketing about' thus, it had to be on the title.Anyway, thanks for the help :)
Do not mix indexed and ranked. Indexed you can check at Google analytics or webmaster tool. Ranking depends on how you have written the text. I see your title is very long, I hope your meta-title was correct and meta-description as well. See some more about how to improve your text:

My meta title and description is ok. In this post, I aimed to rank for 'what is affiliate marketing about'. that is my meta title and the description is a little snippet of the first paragraph of my content (which by the way contains my target keyword)
If you use jaaxy for keyword research tool. There's a tab for site rank. You add your keywords and url, it shows you where you are in google search results. If you are using Seo plugin make sure your sitemap has been indexed?
