An Awesome Family
So am I the only one here that hasn't told family or friends about this awesome adventure I am on.
I have honestly tried other avenues of creating extra income, from sales, remember the stuffing envelopes (that was more a headache than anything at all), anything I felt I could be successful at. They don't tell you everything when you sign the dotted line. And I have given up on them in the past. Showing my family and friends another attempt at my dreams gone.
This is not to be a downer post, I want to express how grateful I am for this platform. The wonderful people I have connected with. I just want to know am I the only one that hasn't believed in myself on this great endeavour.
I have been on this platform since mid-April and to be honest, I haven't gotten as far as I had imagined, but I am ok with that. My time is at a premium and I try to spend as much as I can here. I also have to repeatedly go over the lessons, my mind is by no means a sponge anymore. I literally have to hammer it in. And hope I don't lose that nail. It does get quite painful, the hammering.
I am quite sure if it wasn't for the wonderful people I have met here that I would have given up. The community here has built my confidence, inspired me and I believe made me a better person. So I have been successful!
I do not have the creativity of several of our astute writers, or the awesome way with words others have. It's just little old me and a keyboard, writing from the heart
You guys are the best, I may not have met you face to face, but I look forward to the day that we can met. I feel I have made some of the best friends life could give you and while working at a business (who would have thought).

Hi Wanda, you are definitely not alone - I don't tell family about my attempts at online success, I know that look they give you only too well. A cross between pity and "I can't believe you fell for that scam!", they mean well, they are just looking out for you but you have to dump the negative and keep the positive.
My own progress on here will be slow - but it WILL be progress.

Yes, I know that look as well. We are going to get their. It's unique because we can all go at our own pace and we are still encouraged along the way by our WA Family.

You are in such good company, Wanda!!!! I rarely tell my family what I'm up to. Tired of their comments and complete lack of support... that will never work, you can't do that, etc. Nope. Don't need it. I will tell them when I have 'shut up' checks.
I've had multiple concussions so learning this stuff is super hard for me. I don't have great short term memory. Tough to learn it when you have to repeat things over and over again. And if I don't do something repeatedly, right after I learn it, it doesn't stick.
So, no....you are SOOOOOO not alone! Don't be too hard on yourself. You're here. You're doing what you can. That's good enough. It will come. We're in this together!!!

Christine, when we don't use it, we lose it.
Getting back to task, means relearning. No brain problems, but starting over?? ...Again and again?
My goal is to become automatic with the simple things, as cropping and placing picture and links to posts!
Must get the basics down, like practicing scales on the piano! Drudgery, at first, but absolutely necessary!

So we have the same name, how funny is that. I haven't told anyone about my new found family WA. In the past I've spoken about my get rich schemes to family and friends so many times that mentioning WA to them would mean more wasted money, just another failed attempt to get rich quick. I will tell them about the awesomeness of WA once I succeed in getting my first Affiliate sale. Until then I won't let WA out of my money bag. Too many naysayers outside of WA could ruin my dreams. Thanks for sharing. Keep going Wanda for it's just a matter of time and effort before you start bragging about your hard earn success.

Will do. I have been extremely busy and have been neglecting my WA duties. The approaching holidays have been keeping me busy with unexpected out of towners. Loving it though. Nice to be around uplifting people especially those that have no drama.
Oh do i hear ya there. Drama. Why cant we all just be happy to have each other in our lives. Well thats for another day.
