Oh The Places We'll Go!
How often do we tell ourselves something to the effect of, "Today's the day! I'm going to do (blank)."
Of course you fill in the blank with whatever it is that you have been telling yourself needs to be done, you need to change, you need to fix, etcetera, etcetera.
Only guess what? We need to prepare for what it is that we are about to take care of. Or possibly someone interrupts our train of thought to request a hand with something they desperately need done first. Or who knows, maybe we just need a little more time...
I've always said that people are the strangest things. As a whole we can be predicted what the entire group will most likely do, but individually that doesn't work being that we are all different!
I've been with Wealthy Affiliates now for over six months and have just learned of this blog site while working diligently on my own personal website.
My intensions all along were to have finished the trainings provided by Wealthy Affiliates months ago so that my own website would be much further along.
Unfortunately, I fell into some of the same easy excuses that are always around.
What has saved me is that I have been through this before and I know what it is I want in the end and need to do to accomplish my goals. I am also very fortunate that Wealthy Affiliates provides some excellent training that has allowed me to continue to grow as I have stayed my course.
Although procrastination and excuses are always an easy avenue for one to find a way out it is necessary that I learn from my failures, and continue to grow ultimately sharing this with others through my personal website.
This blog is just one of the steps in my learning and my growth that being a part of Wealthy Affiliates provides me with.
No matter what happens with my next step, I am looking forward to taking it!
