Should You Quit You Fulltime Job to Start This Business
This is a question many of us ask ourselves. Perhaps I can get this business going if I have more time?
Well, unless you have a huge savings account and can support you and your family's current lifestyle for the next twelve months I would say NO.
Building an online business is hard enough without having the stress of paying bills with no income. There is also the capital needed to fund your business. Marketing and advertising cost, subscription costs and paying for a mentor. Yes this is something everyone in business needs. It is critical to your success. Mentors don't come cheap!
Starting your business part time is possible with just a couple of hours a day as long as you are well organised and doing the right things. When you are working you have the extra cash to do things like outsourcing. A perfect option when working part time on your business.
So if you are itching to give up your day job and start your home business, stop and think about it. Wouldn't it be better to sit down and plan the exit from full time employment, do your business plan and work out what you need to replace your current income. Put everything in place to start working towards your goal. Record your progress and measure your business daily, weekly or monthly to see if you are on the right track.
Planing and setting goals is essential to achieving success and quitting that 9 - 5 lifestyle.Set out with your end goal in mind, do something everyday to move you closer to that goal and you will succeed.
Take action and keep focused on your goal.
Hope the helps
Cheers Kev

Very Good !! That is the approach I have with this business. I try to do something to move me forward every day with the time I have to invest from the day.
Excellent, it is important to to keep checking your progress against your goals and adjusting your plan to suit. Keep doing those things every day to get there.
Thanks for your comment.

Brad you have mentors in Kyle, Carson and Jay. There are also others who earn full-time incomes online that are WA members who will help you along. In other words ...
Mentors are every where here at WA but choose wisely who you follow as a mentor.
Search your community, ask a question here. Do a Google search (you are likely to find paid services). Your mentor has to be someone on the same page as you. Someone you click with.
Keep searching and asking and you will find the right one.

I would agree, it's a huge risk to chuck it all and dive in. I'd say a year is still risky, my best bet would be 4-year, the same time it will take you to get a college degree. That's what learning online marketing is like.
It is a profession like any other. I remember when I started trading the markets I thought I could make money and retire from fulltime work in weeks. Big shock, took me years.
We have to learn the craft then apply it before becoming successful. Thanks for your comment

Ok, but think of it this way.... If you build an online business part-time, in 5 years, who knows where you'll be? If you DON'T build an online business, you pretty much know where you'll be. Exactly where you are right now.
It does feel like a lifetime away, but give your future-self a gift and build that business. In the grand scheme of things, even if it takes 5 years to earn a full time living online, that is a pittance compared to what it will do for you the rest of your life.
You are not alone. We all have this dream, it is why we are in this business. Thanks for your comment. Cheers Kev
True, if I never joined WA and started 2 blogging sites and one e-store, I'd still be where I am now in 5 years, with no change in my life.

Very good sensible advise Kev for any members that might be thinking about that. I hope it keeps them from making that mistake.
