What I found suprising in WA

Dreams are great, and I'm a big dreamer! So that is were the journey begins.

One of that dream is to own an online business. When I started it couple of years back, I found it a uphill battle. 'Overwhelming' was a term that is quite often heard in these contexts. I'm sure anyone in this community would have been through this would agree with that.

Explored internet hours and hours, days and days and years. I got very much valuable information. But there is a problem with solo work - to keep the motivation all by yourselves.

I created some tools taking much pain, eventually to understand I was the only person who is interested in it.

I created websites, going through painful learning mechanisms, but that was having the least traffic.

I tried some courses, eventually realized money making is only for the author.

But, persistence is in my nature - Thank Goodness. Now, after a decent exploration I'm in WA.

There are many things that I found surprising in WA.

1. First and foremost, a vibrant community. Team work makes it much easy to succeed. People were connected together for the common goal of success and is offering upfront 'how can I help you!'. That tells me that I'm on the right course

2. There are members with just couple of months of experience but owning exciting websites. You can create a website with a click of a button - with necessary plugins preinstalled! As a person who set up websites ( such as http://isellglobal.com) piece by piece, I can understand the value of this

3. People have started making money in just couple of months. It is not that I'm entirely new to the online business (or attempt). It took me pretty long time to earn my first dollar.

4. There is a provision to get your website reviewed, earn comments etc. This is certainly a formula for success.

I'm just beginning here. I see lots of positive energy. I'm set out to find out more excitement in upcoming days. I'm sure you have your own list to share - when you write your comments below, let it reflect those.

Thanks for following me! Hope we can inspire eachother!

I think you've documented some of my favorite points about being a WA member.

Thanks Mike. I looked in to your profile, looks like we share many things including interest in diverse topics. I see that you built couple of websites since you joined a year back. Would you mind to share your experience with me. Are you making any money through these sites?

Thanks for visiting my profile. I've been at it about 1 year now and am constantly learning. I consider this a journey and I look at success not just as revenue but as the whole package of learning, growing, communicating and making money. I am earning some coin but it is not a gusher...yet. One thing I have found effective is to think in terms of "Multiple Streams of Income". So I try to generate revenue in different ways on my sites: Several different Affiliates, Direct advertising, Infolinks, and a few other ideas I'm working on. Don't forget to diversify outside your site for additional income. For example, if you like to write, there are some good, legitimate freelance sites available. Hope this is useful.

Thanks Dude!

WA is so different from most of the things you encounter on the internet. Good luck to you.

Thank you playfulheart!
