Dancing With the Devil
Ya, I know, what a title, but first, here's to all WA Members, to have a dynamic and successful (not just financially), Wednesday, Dec/17/2014...what a community!
This expression/title, comes from a man who should know better, definitely does know better, I'm an ordained Pastor (resigned from pulpit in 2007 as some may know), and yet, when life kicks you when you're down (online is big time guilty of this), even on the home field, with friends, family, and even recently with my workplace, latter all because of crazy political correctness (Yuk), one cannot always avoid the pits in the midst of all this, Pastor or no Pastor. Dancing with the devil my friends is something that more and more people are doing these days if they cannot find or reason about, at least in their own minds that other people genuinely care; no meaningful love, hope and joy leads to and/or becomes just like what Paul says about our current world, in 2 Timothy 3:1-4 (not preaching, just these verses for clarification on my point) "1You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God."
Always respectfully, we would have to be blind and foolish to believe this is not actually taking place around us, and yours truly has himself has danced with the devil a few too many times, a man who should know better, but I truly know what it's like to be in the pit of a living hell, dancing with this devil, not caring if he takes another breath or not, considering the darker than dark side, so imagine if you can, what someone who doesn't know what I know for comfort...what do they do...they give up, and too many times on self, family and the world because they see no way out--so just a little more to the good news!
In closing, young people suicide is sky-rocketing because of their loss of hope and joy, and all of what Paul shares 2nd paragraph up above. In 2012 alone, 1.5 million Americans filed for bankruptcy, and crazier today...and the corporate world is interested only in profits, as are the banks, mortgage companies, and on and on. GOOD NEWS, GREAT ADVICE IS, Wealthy affiliate is giving hope and joy into the lives of people, by the thousands now, just from what I have experienced going into my 4th day. And folks I can say from 17 years of online experience, with zip to show for it, this company and it's leadership stand for everything that I tried to recently introduce to the world without a bite and bagged everything, including about $50K of outright scamming; a truly unselfish approach to people-first leaders...an example to be modelled after, and Kyle and Carson have laid this very ideal, different approach, right in front of us, with a model and path to follow, that millions need, not just thousands. How many profiles have you read where they are talking about living paycheck to paycheck, etc., etc., etc? You know yourself they are not lying...and WA has everything a person could ask for or want here at Wealthy Affiliate to take them to a financially secure place to do whatever their hearts desire chooses, to fulfill their ultimate purpose. God bless my WA friends/family...keep cheering anyone and everyone on...THEY, WE & I, need it. :) :) :)

Good article. The hardest thing in Christian life is swimming against the tide, fighting the devil is apart of this, tidal surges like a tsunami are thrown at us, but we have a great advocate, God. There are no winners or losers here, but a walk of faith.
Well said; and clearly as Solomon tells us, our journey is like a chasing after the wind and all that matters is God...amen...thus my third and final niche fine tuning attempt of 'Why Should I Believe Jesus' coming soon :)
I love this blog!!!! I have danced with the devil a few times and it got me NOWHERE!!! It only cut me down to pure isolation in the swamps of Florida.. I nearly lost the very nearest and dearest precious soul in my life.. Great insight, great read!!!!
Hey Faith, thank you, really! Most, for good reason, have a hard time relating to my boldness or straightforward approach to the reality of the times we are in, in which I share, and while oddly enough, we are all facing this daily havoc of frustration and mind bogglement as a result of what I like to say is information overload (technological era), whether we want to admit it or not. I am glad you picked up on this and were transparent enough to share your comments. Have a great finish to your day; I'm rooting for you, and many other young people on here at WA, because they/you, need this. :) :) :)

Thankyou for sharing this very important part of our lives. I have never really been scamed in a major way on the internet . My first attempt at it was more of a wake-up call than anything else. I waisted about $75-00 total - immediatly saw that it was a dead end ! That inner-voice that i've always had since childhood (In my case our Lord God, Holy Spirit !) told me to keep on clicking , checking , comparing , searching ...............and then ...........WA came up !. Keep in mind that this is a first for me and that my internet skills are no-where near perfect.As i read the comparison report written by Kyle about the group i had first joined .......the lights suddenly came on for me ....the road ahead was illuminated, bright and clear. Hence my arrival here at WA with all its wonderfull people. To me its a God's sent Blessing. Be warned though , the devil is always out there lurking in the dark somewhere inviting you and me for a dance, turn your back on it and walk away..
I hope this did'nt sound to much like a sermon , it is just me thinking out loud and i had to get it off my chest and WA and its community allows me that oppertunity ......................God Bless you all , take care stay gold ......................Johan.
lol...thank you, Johan...not a sermon, just genuine feedback for which I have always cherished. I believe in Proverbs we will find: "Rebuke a wise man and he will become wiser still;" I have always lived by that, even should advice come my way from the mouth of a babe :).
