Questions Remain on Google Ranking Secrets
Questions remain on Google ranking secrets, if there really are any.
For example, my site, although still wet behind the ears (scenes), is rated as excellent and Google ranked, and with a search on my term alone (Why Should I Believe Jesus), contrary to the other day, thanks to Google+, I reached page 20 (knowing it's page 1 or nothing...but just to see), before calling it a lost cause, lol.
Now, when I took same search to Bing, again, the #1 page winner was www.intouch.org, Charles Stanley, great guy and teacher, however, his key words are [In Touch Ministries, Dr. Charles Stanley, In Touch, Christian, Christian Living, Religion, Magazine, Life Principles, Sermon, Bible Study, Gods Word, Broadcast, Daily Devotionals, Devotionals], and yet I never used any of these search terms and ended up on his site; and the term that shows up is 'Why Should I Believe 'in' Jesus,' note the 'in' Jesus, whereas mine is without the 'in'...(Why Should I Believe Jesus) ... My site doesn't show up there either...quit after page 8.
Boggled as usual, and must confess, although my WA site far exceeds the appearance of my other site on Wix, or any over the years if honest, looks and results are still very much two different things, amen! :)
Cheers my friends...fight, fight, fight the battle, to win, win, win the battle :) :) ;)

Wow Kevin, I love what you said here:
fight, fight, fight the battle, to win, win, win the battle :) :) ;)
(hint: use spiritual weapon, lol, Kevin)
When your site is new Kevin, it's normal to see it rank low or not at all. This is why as you build up content and raise your authority, you'll see rankings climb up and up, including new ones.
So what may have ranked on the 20th page of Google for your keyword might go well up to the 1st and any keywords you chase afterwards.
There is no secret to Google ranking. The only truth is that:
Write quality content and chase low competition keywords. Rinse and repeat.
