Google Plus For 1st Page Results!

This is a quick post on a surprise I came across just now.

Yesterday, technically this morning around 12:30 am, I published an article on proper squat form and the 3 big problem areas for most of us. I also posted the article and its embedded videos onto my google+ and twitter account.

I went onto google just now, less than 24 hours after posting the article onto my social media accounts, and search for "Proper Squat Form" since those were the keywords I used for the article. And what do you know?

I didn't believe it at first but I opened up a new browser and typed in google again the same keyword and got the same results!

I doubt that my article is even indexed since my website is still fairly new (2 months) and I have only 30 something articles.

But I hope you see the importance of posting on your social media here.

I understand in the starter's lessons, Kyle emphasized to not get caught up with social media and waste unnecessary amount of time on it. I agree with that wholeheartedly because I sometimes get sucked into conversations on FB and articles from Twitter and such.

But during your daily, weekly, or whatever frequency you check your social media accounts, take the few minutes and put up your articles! In this and I think almost all cases, google+ is the way to go

Not only does it bring awareness to those following your account, you can get them onto google's search engine right away, even before the next crawl occurs on your site!

I hope this helps everyone see how much the little things that we take for granted can help.
