Why Sabbatical

For the past couple of months I have been absent from the group. My absence was due to numerous reasons, chief of which was frustration with the outcome of my website.I have not been getting the traction i expected, in fact I got a few rejections from applications for affilliate links.

I got some recommendations from group members on the shortcomings of my site, for which I am very greateful. I heeded the advises but still did not feel that I was getting anywhere. My theme was not doing anything for me. My articles were not rich and enticing as I expected them to be. I started thinking that I might have chosen the wrong topic. Mark you, one of my articles was indexed by Google, but I still harbour the feeling of worthlessness.

Amid all this I am determined that I must achieve my goal of becoming a Web Developer and to create a few income streams to assist in the achievement of my financial goal. So you see, I had much to think about during my sabbatical

So what have I done?

Thanks to Kyle and his team for the Entrepreneural course, they did a great job, but some how, some basic principles were missing me, perhaps because I am technologically-challenged. So what I did, I went to Youtube and found some videos that I thought could help me to fill in the blanks and they did. Now, I have chosen a new theme and I am feeling happier with the appearance.

What next?

I will now revisit my articles, restructure them and add more value to them. I may even change my topic or the domain name. Currently my topic is Lifestyle Weight loss and my domaine name is thebestwaytolosebellyfat,com.

The articles are not strictly about losing belly fat, they are aout general weight loss. The inconsistency between the domain name and the articles seem a bit deceptive to me and so I would like to revert to lifestyleweightloss.com, the initial domain name I used befor going premium. If there is anybody who can help me deal with this issue I would be very happy

Now that I have a better knowledge of website development I intend to review all the lessons in the course with the aim of getting all the pieces together. At the end of this all I hope to have an effective website, one that will carry the message strongly and at the same time bring me some needed income. This of course would set the stage for me to, not only create more sites, but to be of help to other struggling member of the group.

Conclusion

I just want to say that I am Motivated and I am determined to achieve my goal of $20,000.00 per month. Sometimes it seems far fetched but with strong determination and dedication I will get there.

And while I am at it let me wish Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers in the house. Hoping that you have a wonderful day and that you continue being the good fathers you are.
