Routine Or No Routine?
One of the things I love about being my own boss, is that I can do what I want, when I want to do it. That being said, having some sort of routine helps to keep me on task, and consistently putting out good content.
Tasks
There are certain tasks that I need to do every week with my business. I need to research and do all of the screen shots for my tutorial posts. I need to make sure that the post is ready to go once per week, and that I create images for each type of social media. There are things that I want to make sure I do on the WA site every week.
My Weekly Schedule

I created a MS Word document with a weekly schedule of tasks to be completed each day. I can switch things around as my personal life dictates, but I need to get certain things done, or my business doesen't go anywhere.
Notice My First Task On Wednesday
I schedule in time to give feedback on WA websites. If I do six every week, that gives me 3 credits that I can use to get comments on my own site. This is really essential! I need to make time to give to others, so I can receive the payback on my own site. Start scheduling time to offer comments or feedback. It's a win for everyone involved!
Sometimes I Get On A Roll
Sometimes, I am in the creative zone. I love it when I'm there! That means that I can just keep creating and writing without tiring, and the words are just pouring out of my fingertips. This week, I had a day like that, and got screen shots ready for three posts! That made this week fly by, because I had a lot of work ready to go in the pipeline.
When it happens, I roll with it, and ignore other things I'm supposed to be doing that day. Bursts of energy and creativity are not to be ignored! I'll catch up on other stuff later in the week.
Only One To Two Posts Per Week?
That's all I can handle. I would rather have quality over quantitiy any day of the week. The quality posts will keep building up, just at a slower rate that the training advises.
Do You Use A Schedule?
If you do something different from mine, let me know in the comments.
